I did, it was a lot of fun, but at a dollar a round I only shot it twice. I also shot a Glock Fo-tay and lived! Going shooting yesterday opened my eyes to a lot of new things.

Happiness is a dark blued, walnut gripped, 6 1/2" barrled S&W Model 29.

OberFeldwebel Happiness is a dark blued, walnut gripped, 6 1/2" barrled S&W Model 29. The one I shot had pachmayr grips, but other than that it fits description. The recoil of the Glock was just as bad.

Maelthra Reloaded OO23OO I did, it was a lot of fun, but at a dollar a round I only shot it twice. I also shot a Glock Fo-tay and lived! Going shooting yesterday opened my eyes to a lot of new things. Glock .40SW or what? Model 27. My friend's carry piece. That tiny thing was a lot of fun to rapid fire. It almost flew out of my hand, it's so small.

confused I tried one of those out a while ago; I had absolutely no problem with it other than the fact it was not designed in any way that felt comfortable to me. Recoil didn't bother me a bit after 100 rds, made me decide whatever pistol I buy is going to be .40SW.

Recoil didn't bother me a bit after 100 rds, made me decide whatever pistol I buy is going to be .40SW. I have big hands and long fingers, I couldn't hold on to it well. And it's not so much that it felt like it had more recoil, it's just the recoil seemed to bother me more. Maybe it was the rapid fire thing. And both of the .40SW chambered pistols I shot made me decide I don't want a polymer pistol in .40SW

29? Naw. 629? Jah. Thing was sweet; I made a 1" group and I was shooting it just to say I did. Although, it was a performance center one, I think.
We don't have a Smith, but we do have a Ruger. It's pretty nice.

With S&W, the first of the numbers (when there's three) it does indicate what material it's made out of. However, 6 in 629 is stainless. 3 in 329 is their lightweight .44, and 0 in 29 is their blued version.
