While most creatures her age had outgrew the curiosity and excitement that came from seeing everyday objects, NiPom had not. This may have been do to the fact she was mostly a house pet and quiet frankly didn't get out much. Nevertheless the fluffy Palui excited in seeing such things as bugs, plants, and pretty much anything of the brightly colored variety. Today she had stumbled upon quiet the treasure, a butterfly with wings of brilliant blue. There in a grassy and rather flower covered field she had spent a good portion of her day chasing it in circles, never straying very far from where the chase had began.

"Blue blue blueBLUEBLUE!" she repeated this word as she bounced after the creature.

Of one of the things that Firestone like to do the most was to walk out in the field and play and chase with Butterfly. He wasn't sure why but he just love to do it. His Farther didn't like to do it and sure in heck his Mother didn't like to do it. His Sister, Yellow Fang did too but he harley ever saw her so it really didn't matter. He wonder if any other palui like to do this as much as he did. He saw a Butterfly and lower his bottom to get ready to ponce. He jump in the air and catch the butterfly with his paws. He was extra careful not to hurt them because he would of have felt bad. After awhile he let the butterfly go and walked down further into the field to see if anyone was there.

The pomeranian Palui lowered her fluffy body as she crept towards the butterfly she was chasing, which had now landed itself on a nearby flower. I'll have you now I will, I WILL and we shall be the bestest friends, WE SHALL!" Despite NiPom's inability to stay quiet the butterfly remained where it sat.

Wiggling her bottom NiPom pounced at the butterfly. The Palui landed with a thud in the exact spot the butterfly had been, crushing a few flowers but, luckily not the butterfly. NiPom rose back to her feet glancing around to see if she had caught her "prey". Much to her disappointment she finally caught glimpse of it flitting around again just above some flowers a few feet a ways.

"DARN ALMOST HAD YOU! I'LL GET YOU YET!" she exclaimed running after the butterfly again.

Firestone was still walking deeper into the forest until he heard loud yapping and then a loud thud. Firestone froze and sniff the air. He wonder what was going on to make so much noise in the forest. He caught the scent of a palui and figure that he would walk around and investigate.

When he finally reach the spot where the scent was overpowering his nose he caught sight of a little gray fluff ball. How cute. he though. She must was playing with something and felled. He walk over to a tree that was close to her and said "Are you alright. He hope that he would scare her.
