Yeah. They were having a sale on them. Like 79 cents a piece, I think, was what mom said. As a result, we have a bunch of them. Just cooked one, since I have very, very limited culinary ability (spaghetti, scrambled eggs, french toast -- once, anyway -- and the obvious stuff), and realized how apparently my microwave can flavor the air of an entire house. neutral
Anyway. Can anyone in here cook? And for those of you that do, what do you cook best?
The title, by the way, was just a reference to those stories that apply deep sentimentality and extreme philosophical value to otherwise completely mundane things. I just find them funny.

Toast, Mi Goreng, Fried Eggs & Bacon, Muffins and Pancakes. As you can see I'll have a very good fast food diet when I move out of home as these are the extent of my cooking ability.

Ive grown up having to cook for my family so I can pretty much cook anything and everything, my specialty lies in deserts though, probably because I love sweet food, the favourite thing I cook is either simple creme brule, vanilla, caramel, fudge cake with chocolate and and cinnamon toppings or apple crumble or eves pudding as I simply love those.

Dear gawd my mom makes the best creme brule. O___O She only makes it maybe once a year, though.
I can follow recipes, if that counts. And I make ramen. Mmmm.

And ******** Ovaltine. twisted
Also, I reeeaaaally want that breakfast burrito. I do.

Oh! I remembered I can make easy style potato chips. You get flat bread, cut it into pieces, throw some spice on it, chuck it all on a tray and lightly toast.

I can follow a recipe, and am pretty good with seasoning mixes. I can make just about anything, but that Strawberry filled cake thing that I made like 3 years ago sounds amazing right now. It was plain white cake, with the inside scooped out and this amazing strawberry filling with slices of strawberry inside, plus it coating the outside. To die for.
But I'm known among my friends for my Chocolate Chip Cookies and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pancakes.
I'm terrible about limiting my chocolate consumption.
