Hey, haven't posted in here for a long time, since it was a FF guild... ages ago. Anyway, I decided to create a RP and see how active this guild is.
Not long ago the sacred Crystals were stolen from the holy temple in Brathmire. These crystals, when placed on the altar in the temple, had the ability to summon celestial beings during times of trouble for Brathmire.
The counsel that rules over the country of Brathmire summoned it's greatest heroes and mercenaries, wizards and alchemists. From those that arrived in the capital, a small group were chosen to retrieve the crystals.
It was just after the counsel that an army attacked from across the sea. It seemed that whoever stole the crystals had planned the subsequent attack on Brathmire. There were no messages demanding surrender or declerations of war from the invading army. No one even knows what their country is or their rulers name.
Okay, when posting, don't bother with a profile. Just remember, no godmodding, play fair, etc.

Kyran sat waiting for the others that were chosen to undertake this mission. They had been told that there were 3 crystals and that they were approximatly the size of his fist. Not that he cared. He was getting paid and his home was going to be protected.
Kyran lent a little bit on his longbow. It looked like it was made out of ebony, or some other realy dark wood. The quiver on his slender back was filled with lots of arrows, most of them with different coloured tail feathers. One was even sparkly.
Kyrans clothes were a loose fitting shirt and a pair of cargo pants. Around his neck was an amulet that had an owl carved into it's silver surface. On his upper legs were tied 2 daggers, both with cruely shaped blades that were designed to do a lot of damage. A few of the pockets in his pants had suspisious bulges, and one of them had a piece of material hanging out that looked like a white handkerchief. The chain of a pocketwatch hang out another pocket.

Kai walked towards the rendezvous point, and looked around. The only one there as of yet was familiar, and she grinned, before walking over to him.

Kyran smiled faintly and gave his slim sister a hug. "This is going to be fun. Finding somethings that can save the country from an invading army. Shouldn't be too hard."

Kai smiled.
"You're too optimistic, dear brother. I think this is going to be much harder than i first imagined," she said, hugging him back. "But then, i'm not too worried. After all, it is you and me, and whoever else they've picked to accompany us," she stepped back and took a long look at her handsome brother. "It's been three years since i saw you last. I can't believe we managed to meet up on this."

"Has it really been that long?" he asked with a chuckle in his voice. He actually couldn't believe that the counsel had chosen his sister to go along. Of course, she was one of te best spellcasters around, at least, that's what he thought and apparently the counsel agreed.
"Hows mum and dad?" he asked her. He didn't really want to know after the arguement he had had with them, but it was always nice to know if they were living or not.

(I'm gonna play a new character called 'Kisa' she's built like an amazon warrior and loves to wear leotard. She's from the 'Berserker' class and wields two knives. She attacks with lots of fury and has a nasty temper. She's a major feminazi basically LOL)
Kisa is also related to somebody she does not want to be related to at all, I'll introduce that character in the future.
Also, I'll be RPing in first person if that's okay!
I approach the siblings. "What are we waiting for? Let's go get some crystals." I don't bother with introducing myself. I can't stand small talk. I just feel like getting the JOB done...and having some fun killing things along the way. "Oh and since I obviously am the strongest one here, I shall lead the group."

"The crow that crows the loudest is not always the wisest," a clear yet soft spoken voice declared behind the rather forward and blunt warrior woman. The agressive woman turned, stepping aside to reveal an interestingly dressed woman - evidence that she wasn't exactly from "around these parts." Silk adorned her body, a beautiful autumn print gracing the fabric while a wide swath of black cloth was wrapped around her waist and tied behind her back. One long wide sleeve could be see as upon the forearm it appeared that a chocolate color feline sat upon it, however on further expection one could discern it was merely a stuffed animal. The young woman's eyes and hair were a startling crimson color, strands of hair spiking outward to oneside as if permenantly stuck from a windy day.
Those unusual eyes flicked to each face present, quickly studying it and then she bowed to introduce herself in that soft spoken voice once again, "I am pleased to meet you all. My name is Shizuka and it is an honor to be given this task."

I growl at this woman. I don't like her already. How dare she correct me!!!
"You know," my tone turns bitchy, "those clothes are WAY too fancy to go battling in...I don't want to hear any crying if a level 67 Brathmarian Wolf rips them to shreds."
I notice everybody starts giving me those 'oh just be nice' looks that I really despise of. "Okay, fine. I'm Kisa. I was raised in the Wizard community as a teenager but I left before registering to the Counsel as an official witch. The passive, studying lifestyle was something that I did not want to partake in. So I joined a group of Berserkers in the jungle, all women, and they helped me get in touch with the primal woman within."
I adjust my shoulders and flex for everyone a bit, letting them know that I'm an 'alpha-female' basically. "I still know a bit of magic so I'm not just a stupid fighter type if that's what anybody is thinking. I turned off my feelings long ago to rid the land of these foul creatures, so nobody even try to think about being my friend. Got it?"
I do not want to share about my childhood, how I was raped and abused and my innocence stolen away from me every day. I have to be a warrior, damn if any of these fools try to find a 'softer' side to me.

Crimson painted lips curved upward on a pale complexion, "My attire does not worry me, Kisa-san. The honor of a victory is more important." Lifting the stuffed animal to drap it across her shoulders, Shizuka stuffed her hand down one of the sleeves of the kimono to pull out several wide strips of paper, each with unusual text written on them, "I am a talisman wielder. I can either attack an enemy or support my companions."

I shyly walk up to the group of adventures. "Uh....hi? I think this is the right place."
I notice everybody seems to be introducing themselves, so I better follow. "I'm Arc...a white mage apprentice, with some psychic heritage. Only my true powers are not activated yet. I only have basic intuition, I can sense something is going to happen about a few seconds before it actually does. I can also very, very slightly raise people's luck in battle...but that's about it." I realize I'm starting to ramble.
Still avoiding eye contact with everyone I continue, "So uh...I'm afraid I'll need to be protected." I don't tell them that I need to learn about them, their psychological fears and hopes...in order to heal them if I should become a white mage. In order for me to get valuable results, they must know that they're not being tested.

I look the small boy up and down. "Great. A healer that can't heal."

The long sleeve of the kimono was lifted, her hand pulled inside to hover the material close to her lips as she giggled, "Ah, but Arc-san has an advantage over us, don't you?" Shizuka bowed slightly in his direction, "Arc-san will be able to warn us of impending dangers!"

I look at the pretty woman and smile. She seems more gentle than the others. "Y-yes, in theory...I can do that. But sometimes I'm just too late." I suppose I just need to trust my instincts, which is what this mission will help me with. I'm also an introverted person and I simply don't like saying 'Hey, watch out!' all the time. I guess this mission might help me overcome my shyness though.
"Also remember that intuition is just a feeling or a sense. I don't actually have visions. So I can also be wrong. Yet if I deem myself worthy with these trials, my intuition should evolve into full-blown premonitions." I have to underestimate myself, I don't want them to be counting on me for anything quite yet. I don't know how I'd react if I gave somebody the wrong message and they died because of me.
I nervously fiddle around with my small staff, waiting for somebody to lead us in the direction of the first crystal. I'm not even allowed to carry a staff in my village yet, but I try to practice with one anyway when I'm alone.

Kyran watched in silence as the three new people walked in and started talking. Interesting. Very interesting. This is going to be a trying time.
Kyran bent and put his lips next to Kai's ear. "Watch out for the warrioress. You might have to do something sometime."
He sat up and smiled broadly at the now assembled group. "Well, I don't particularly think we need a leader, but if you insist, then go ahead. I'm certainly not going to take point when walking." He smiled to indicate that this last remark was a joke. "I'm Kyran and this here is my sister, Kai. For the purpose of not getting us confused, I'll ask that you don't shorten my name to Ky." He grinned widely again. "Let us leave here and go search. I think we should go to the temple and see if one of us can actually find some clue."
((Just remember sam that your characters were chosen because they were the best in their rea of expertise.))

Kai smiled, and looked at the three newcomers. "I like you. Let's be friends!"
