I'm just pissed off lately.

Mostly due to the fact that it seems like I can't say anything anymore, because whenever I do, about a hundred people jump down my throat about it. I'm not allowed to have opinions or something, because apparently everything I think is wrong and everyone feels the need to repeatedly tell me that I should just go die or something.

Like, I commented on a webcomic, I was like "Man, I hate guys, that attitude is such bullshit", and the author proceeded to lecture me on how saying that represents myself poorly, and I TRIED to argue back that my own past experiences shape my opinion, and telling me that it represents myself in a bad way really isn't going to do either of us any good; it actually represents those who shaped my opinion poorly, and he should go b***h at them about it because they made me think the way that I do. And yes, actually, sometimes I do hate men. There's entirely too much drama that goes on with guys that I can't stand. I never said though, that I didn't hate women either, but apparently because whatever the female characters were doing wasn't something that I disagreed with, it made me a man-hating feminist who deserves to be chastised thoroughly for having a different opinion than the author. If you don't want people to comment on your work, then remove the ability to.

Or earlier, I was talking about how I didn't get much sleep last night, because I had to call the police about some people who were getting high outside my window and generally being obnoxiously loud (to the point where others were shouting out their windows for them to shut up, it was 3am, and people wanted to sleep), and that my roommate brought home yet another one of her strays to ******** while I was in the same room. Well, one of the people I was complaining to was like "Oh, you poor thing" in a completely sarcastic way; she's an art student who gets an average of six hours of sleep a week because of all her projects. Well, I didn't make her become an art student, and I'd really appreciate the chance to b***h about something without having it become a bigger d**k contest. Yeah, things suck for you too, but I hear about that only a hundred times a week. This is the first time I get to complain about something, and you want to tell me I need to shut up?

Jesus Christ, I'm just so sick of it. Am I an easy target or something?

Well I see how much you are pissed off. I totally agree. Guys can be dicks, myself included, though not that often, and I think that kind of dude is a jerk.
However, you and him both have freedom of speech. Its just how you use it. You can either be nice, or you can be a cold hearted d**k, whose life revolves around making the world darker for others.

Its kinda like how, even though you have the freedom of speech, you can't just go and yell "FIRE!!!" in a crowded room, and expect to remain unpunished.

But because of how you worded it, with the hating guys part first, that makes it seem like you think all guys have that personality.
It's just the way it was said.

I'm not saying the same thing that guy said.
Otherwise, if I am, then you saying that bitched at you about it was a vast overstatement.
I was just saying why someone would get upset over that.
