So happy spring, everyone! It's about time for the bees to come out and the sakura to bloom! There's a Sakura Matsuri at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden in New York that I've gone to over the past few years. It's beautiful, there are tons of cultural events, and awesome Japanese food and jewelry to buy. Plus, the gardens are just about the most amazing thing ever. Anyone else planning on going to this or another festival? Or has anyone already gone to the one in DC?
Check out www.bbg.org for more info!

I was planning on going to that! :3
I can't get away on the Saturday (I have SAT's!), but I can get there on the Sunday. After canceling my plans for the car wash, but there's another one on the 17th, so it's okay.
Really looking forward to it~

That's exciting! I don't know if I'm going Saturday or Sunday yet. ^_^ Good luck on your SATs! They're not as bad as everyone says. The hard part is how loooong they are!

Loool~
I know they're not all that hard, but it's just the Math practice test my teacher gave, I got, like 3 right! xD And it doesn't help the fact I barely remember anything from my freshman year without reviewing it... xP The English I know I'll ace, though.

I would also love to go, but I am to far away. 3nodding Washington is supposed to have the best Sakura Matsuri in the United States so I have never heard of any other festivals.
Maybe I can go next year. whee

I've never been to the one in D.C. but the one in New York is beautiful. They have trees EVERYWHERE as well as a beautiful variety of tulips and tons of other flowers. There's also a Japanese theme section with a tori and little waterfall and some koi!

I think I'll be going Sunday. That way I don't have to take another day off of work (I nanny) and because the weather is supposed to be better (i.e. 30% chance of rain on Sunday, 40% on Saturday). I'm going with the boyfriend and a few friends. It should be a pretty awesome time! And I have a new camera so I can take super awesome pictures!

Woo hoo! Only two more days until I go! (I'm going Sunday) I got my train tickets today! I hope that it won't rain. It wasn't supposed to a week ago but then it changed it's mind. Maybe it'll change it's mind again.

Unfortunately, I have altar service at 10:00 at my church, so I probably won't get there until about 12:30ish, judging by the train schedule. The agony...

Chloie, you are more responsible than I. I have to present my fake research proposal on Monday. The finished paper should be between 15 and 20 pages. I have one very bad paragraph finished. Thankfully I should be able to bullshit my way through the presentation, get feedback and finish the paper that week. (Because it's not actually due until the final!) I have the arts of procrastination and avoidance down to a science!

Lol, I'm not going to talk about my procrastination because it makes me feel bad and definately uh... Okay, example...
There is this one class that I'm in that has three tests: One midterm, one final, and then one in-between the two.
I have yet to take the midterm, and I expect to fail the class! Best of luck to me! I have to do it this week sometime, and I haven't studied for anything!!!
