The summer sun beat down onto the lands where the Soquili found home, on this nice sunny day Joseph found himself laid in the planes looking across the land with his almost glowing blue eyes. His breathing was calm and to be honest he was not doing much of anything besides sun bathing and relaxing for a few moments to think over what him and his children where going to spend the summer doing maybe a few trips to the beach where in store. The thought of his little ones in the sand and see made a small smile come onto his lips, then again they where not really his little ones any more. They where all fully grown adults but they still lived near him thankfully and where very close to their father which you could not really say about the youth today. He looked up at the cloudless sky and took another deep breathe his head wings flapping to cool down his face. It was really such a lovely day.

All Lamb could say about the weather was that it was too hot. The rays of the sun sent waves of heat over him and his dark coat took it all in. He was not one to complain about the weather, however, so he kept his mouth shut to suffer in silence. At the moment all he really wanted to do was retreat back into the shaded grove where his family resided or else take a plunge into a chilly depths of the lake. Right now this was impossible due largely to the fact that he was quite a distance away from either location and he was busy.
The long grasses of the plains were something he had seen a few times before but he had never once ventured out in to them. An investigation was greatly needed. So like a cat he wove through the blades with his tail twitching behind him. Dark pink eyes scanned everything around him for at least a second.
A white shape not far from him kept catching his attention. Part of him considered that it was just a rock but then it would be a very bizarre shape for a rock to take. Flicking his ears a few times he studied it when suddenly it moved. Lamb's eyes went wide and without hesitation he made a bee-line towards the odd shape cutting through the grass like a blade through water.
