Okay, I would like to know people's thoughts on adding a 100g guild entry fee. All users already in the guild wouldn't have to pay, and the idea of the 100g fee is that people won't come in if they aren't serious about joining.

So how are we to keep the people who don't post at all out?

Why bother? If they join then don't post, that's their choice. It's not like they are doing any harm, right?

Well, if it really ticks you off, after one month of no posts, boot em. Unless they have a good reason, mind you.

I just don't see a reason for people o join then not post. But, if that's how they want to be, then they can be like that.

I agree, it annoys me too. Just boot them, i agree with Twig. A month and they're out, or something of the sort.

Is it possible for you to send out like a newsletter type thing? That way you could get those who wanna stay to PM you back or something.

Could work. We would need things to go into the newsletter, like questions to the editors. I was part of a guild (The crimson Ibis from memory) that had a weekly 'newletter' thread, where every week they had the top 5 threads, posters, etc with some random questions that were answered.

TwigFigure Well, if it really ticks you off, after one month of no posts, boot em. Unless they have a good reason, mind you. I completely agree. Also, with my guild, I check into the profiles and recent posts of the person requesting acceptance. It can help to know that they do post in roleplaying threads often if you are in a roleplaying guild razz mrgreen

No idea why.

Weird glitch. Should probably check it out-The Captain's Guild might be a better spot to check Path. 3nodding
