Personality: Nova is a sly Kirin, he thinks in steps ahead of what he’s doing and often has more plans then the one he tells or uses. He has a code of honor even to Stallions, but for Mare’s he will try to never hurt them, and more or less let he himself get beaten until they are happy. He would not let himself die of course, but he has no wish to strike a Mare. Nova puts a lot of importance of colors, the brighter a Kirin is, the more respect they have from him.
He can ask questions that might be rude or mean as if no emotion mattered to him, he himself shows little emotion when it comes to most things; and he gives a calm aloof look to everything. He is a bit vain, he always has to groom himself and make sure no filth covers his coat and scales. He is a tricky thing, not very many Kirin can understand him.
History: Nova came from a herd that had lived pretty close to humans, and so he grew up often seeing the tamed and broken colorless Kirin. Nova’s herd itself, only allowed those Kirin with a bright colorful coat, join them and breed. Any foal born of a dull coloring would be outcasted and lucky for Nova, he was born with a coat that shown like northern lights during winters clear skies. Nova grew up as one of the top Kirin in the very large herd, but time went by and he felt the need to leave and find his own herd.
Soon he came to the place he is now, where there is a mix of Kirin’s and some kinds he had never seen before such as those with wings and strange horns. Here he is learning that herds do not care so much for coloring, and they fight differently and not first by color then horn; but to kill and lame.

It seems to shake when birds sing, and it always seems to try and roll from the nest when its parents are not looking.
/Foal
Niji is always looking at the sky and listening to sounds, he seems to be spirited and playful but he also distances himself from others at times. He likes to hum and trot in place, he seems to be very close to nature, careful to not even hurt a spider web.
/Stallion
As an adult Niji hasn't changed much; he still loves to watch the sun bounce of things and enjoys the sound of wind rushing through reeds. He is a very sweet boy and doesn't like fighting at all, he likes to take everything slow and steady. He doesn't get mad, or even super happy; he shows emotion in little ways. Thankfully he does talk now, but it's just as steady paced as the rest of him is. Even if other Kirin think he's stupid, he is pretty smart and a great listener.
