-=Uniform torn, quick and heavy on breath, Revlis skid to a stop the same time Evil did. His mouth wide, grin razor sharp with the most vicious set of teeth... His eyes were wide with adreneline save for his right a partialy squinting due to a cut above the brow. His Dualhound sparking... battered barely functional. Despite the injuries and wounds, his kitsune energies continued to build within his tails and ears... The earth around him began to crumble, shake and collapse slowly... His tails began to glow... The dawn of his 9th tail...=-

From a distance, Daven could see both Evil and Revilis. He wasn't sure if this young pup was ready yet to have another tail, but he would watch what would happen.

There would, if he survived this process, have to be some sort of ceremony in the Kitsune capital. Daven didn't mind that, but he had a thought that Revelis would have a major problem.

Nogitsune, while not barred from Court, were generally not welcomed by those who followed Inara. She was a good goddess, and the Nogitsune had turned their backs on Her centuries ago. They made it plain that they felt mischief making and "an eye for an eye" was their guiding principle, not like the Kitsune who believed that all were equal under the Gods eyes.

He had never seen an Nine Tailed Nogitsune before, so this would be interesting.

Evil's ears pricked and she drew herself up. She could tell this wasn't good, something was wrong. Her lips wrinkled back from her fangs and she growled, telling by his scent that this wasn't her Revlis.

He had to be subdued, NOW.

Ignoring her wounds she pounced forward, muscles working under her bloodstained fur. She launched herself at Revlis, trying to stop him before this could escalate.

-=This forming of the 9th tail was not like any of the other tails before it, all the other tails were a mere short burst and replenishment of natural energies and strength, this one however was too much and too negative. Several of the other tails began to warp in odd ways, his ears elongated and pointed. As Evil lunged for him, Revlis on all fours hopped turning and whipping his hip around towards Evil, one of his warped and twisted lashed out at Evil with an unnatural force behind it, it bared with it an intensive sting and shove accompanied with a nauseating aftershock and headache to it’s victim. Revlis’s ears cocked towards Daven’s direction. The 9th tail began to pulse, twist, warp, slowly growing, fabricating into a full tail. Revlis released a low deep growl not of his own… =-

(So the plan as far As I know is Daven, you gotta come up with a way to try to stop this 9th tail but ending up with only stopping enough of it to reverse this state. Which would leave Revlis with 8 and a half tails. And somehow Evil does something or somehow obtains some part of this half tail. It's gotta be one of those things that Evil can be the only host for it since she's Rev's lover and closest friend.)

Evil was thrown across the ground, landing hard. She slidded a little ways.

She was still for a moment. Silent.

She whined and heaved herself to her paws, shaking her head. Her ears cocked when Daven appeared and attacked. She looked dully at the scene for a moment, her head feeling like someone was sticking a knife in her brain. She shook herself and snarled, tail raised.

She couldn't let this happen to Revlis. She bounded forward, limping slightly, throwing her pace off.

Daven charged in and hit him with the full force of his charge. He bounded over on his back and charged down to the tail that was manifesting.

The only thing he could think to do was attack that tail, and possibly sever it to stop this manifestation.

Daven's mouth closed on the almost manifested tail. He could taste the dessicated rot in this phantom tail. It nauseated him to have it in his mouth and all he could think of was getting it out of his mouth.

His jaws closed on it, and there was a palpable sense of grabbing something. His speed and inertia kept him going and before he knew it he was flying off the back of Revlis with that something in his mouth.

The something, the tail, the core of the problem, thrashed in his jaw, whipping back and forth, coiling around his throat and starting to choke him. It expanded in his mouth and made it hard to breathe. Daven knew that if he didn't get it out that he might be taken over.

He slammed into something soft with his face, and he heard Evil bark in pain. The crap sucked out of his mouth and into the something soft, transferring to it.

He opened his eyes in time to see the last little bit of evil reddish glow slither through an injury in Evil and into her rump. Her tail, which she was so proud of, took on an evil red glow and was streaked with this noxious thing.

Evil started screaming.
