The Quest ~ Part twoThe market was reather big, it was set up with people selling different things on wooden tables like cakes, clothes, books, toys and there was even one for pets.
There was a canteen in the corner and a daycare along the right side.
Toshi looked around her at the mass of people and held on to Ever's shirt just a little tighter;
There were so many people!.
She looked at the tables as Ever took some time to walk around, spotting a small cookie covered in icing she reached for it and whimpered.
Ever looked down at her and the cookie. She sighed but keep going.
"Sorry Toshi, I don't think you need any sugar this early in the morning."
Ever and Toshi shopped around the market for awhile buying a few things here and there like a book, some new clothes for Toshi and some treats for Oliver and Okuri.
It was nearing lunch time so Ever took Toshi over to the Canteen and order her some fruit and herself a sandwhich.
Toshi looked at the little plate of food in front of her and watched mama eat.
Ever watched Toshi and snickered when she saw that Toshi was looking at her like she had gone nuts.
She set the sandwhich done and then helped Toshi to eat her food.
After lunch was done with, they looked around for something else to do.
Ever spotted a workshop that was off to the side. Walking over she found out that it was for children to make chirstmas cards. It included painting though but Toshi seemed so exitented that she couldn't say no and payed for the use of the paint and paper.
She set Toshi in a bright yellow and blue plastic mushroom chair and helped her to make her card.
Once it was dryed and Toshi's hands were clean they decided that is was time for home.
So Ever took the card and put it in her bag.
On the way out Ever spotted a puppy at the SPCA table. She stopped to watch the animals for a minute. She went over to talk to the person behind the table and set Toshi on it.
Toshi giggled and reached out to poke at the puppy in the cage.
In the end it was decided that he would come home with them and was named Wisk.
Exiting the door, with Toshi in one arm and Wisk following along on his leace Ever picked up a flyer and put it in her pocket.
Oliver perked up when he heard them come home, he jumped down from the window and went into the next room only to stop in shock.
They had brought home another one! Didn't they think one was enough!
