 Slipping as quietly as possible through the warren’s maze, he paused for a moment at the tunnel’s end, ears twitching as he sniffed the outside. Frith was just rising on the Down, bringing light and warmth as each dewed leaf and grass blade sparkled in the rays. Few rabbits seemed to stir at this hour, but for Cocao it was beautiful and peaceful; a chance to enjoy life before having to deal with the tasks of living.
Nosing his way out of the burrow, he stretched out, seeing no signs of elil or anything horrible to disturb his morning. Breathing in deeply, he sighed happily sitting right in front of the hole to the warren, taking his time.

The soft pelted female was busy munching on the flay next to her favorite strawberry bush. She had seemed to take a liking to the area, and she was normally found in such a place.
The day was becoming quite norn, and she had no complaints about it. The Frith was making the sun shine brightly, and it was warming on the thlay about her back.
Her ears perked, and she listened for any kind of danger, but she was mostly just paying attention to the taste of the food she was munching on.
She'd save the strawberry's for last. Their sweetness were like a delectable treat to the young marli.

 Foxtail sat nosing curiously at a beetle that was walking over the blade of grass he had been planning to eat. He hadn’t been able to sleep very well that night, as Teasel, (a doe he knew), had gotten frustrated with his tossing and turning and forced him to go outside for awhile. Foxtail didn’t mind though, he was always fidgety when he had to sit still for long periods of time, so why would sleep be any different?
The beetle he was poking at with his nose, walked slowly down the grass, unfazed by Foxtail’s behaviour, before fluttering away to sit on a nearby dandelion. Foxtail bounced after him, “Hey there little thingaby-jiggaby, want to play?” he was so engrossed with his bug watching that he didn’t notice the other rabbits around him.

Hopping out from beneath the beech hanger, he could see the occasional rabbit spread afar. Now was an opportune moment to get some running in. He'd been feeling a little cooped up lately, what with the diseased now sharing area on the Down, and with everyone's mood being rather dark. A rabbit never felt more alive than when he was racing about, tearing across the grass and hillside as fast as his legs could carry.
Stretching out a bit more, not wanting to pull anything, he stomped his back legs a bit before springing forth, setting his sights on the edge of the Down heading forward, a good dash away. He skirted around an tri-colored buck, continuing on his way, but managing out a quick, breathy greeting.
"'Ello there!"
Before continuing on. Reaching the edge of the Down, just able to see yet another enjoying the morning from where he was. A doe, enjoying a bit of flay-rah. Turning about, planning to make it back to the hanger as quickly as he could, he called out to her before dashing off again.
"G'morning, miss!"
And scampered away again. Warm sunlight on his back, a breeze rippling through his fur as he ran, Cocao couldn't help but smile, simply grateful for the day.

Strawberry giggled, her eyes wide as if the fast little rabbit had actually surprised her.
"Oh good morning!"
She called, raising her body to sit on her rump, her upper body extending up, using her front paw to wave.
Her other paw held a little bit of the strawberry that she had been lucky enough to have left. She shoved it in her mouth, chew chew chewing.
Then she looked at hte other Buck she had not seen, and smiled, making sure to wave to him.
"He ran right around you too!"
She giggled.

Foxtail sat up as the fast buck ran past him. He then blinked at the doe who spoke to him; not really hearing what she said, “He was fast wasn't he?” he called to the doe with a giggle; before taking off after the buck.
Foxtail followed the same course the running buck had taken, desperately trying to catch up to him, but also trying to show off his running skills as well, “What are we running for?” he shouted as he started to get closer to him, “Not that I need an excuse to run. I love running! We should race! Are we already racing!? If so, then you really gave yourself a head start there!”
Foxtail liked this buck already. He seemed to share his love of racing and had limitless amounts of energy too, “I’m Foxtail, what’s your name?”

Strawberry smiled, watching the males and keeping her eyes amused by their antics.
Yes they were fast. Much faster than she. She had the quickness of her ancestors.. But she wasn't a runner.. She was built to be a family bunny.. Built to be out of harms way long before it approached her.
Her ears perked, and she smiled, hoping that maybe their running would bring them her way.
But she was kind of doubting they'd stop by a second time.
She sighed with a little grin, leaning back down to eat at the flay at her feet.

((I has a plan 8D Foxtail and Cocao will start their race at Strawberry. Each will grab a strawberry to hold in their mouth that they can't squish or they lose. They'll race from her to the tree and back, and the first to hand her an unsquished berry will win xD We'll do it by dice roll. We'll both roll a 4-sided die three times. One for the trip to the tree, one for the turn around, and the last for the trip back to Strawberry. If we roll a 1 during any of those, on that part we squish our strawberry. The person with the highest total will be winner. I'd imagine it'll be unlikely that either of us will make it back without squishing the berry, but that keeps this fun and humorous xD ))
He flicked his ear in a parting farewell as he dashed away from the doe, saving his voice for when he came back around the second time to talk.
Hearing the buck shouting behind him, Cocao skittered to a stop and then jumped straight up and twisted his body much like during a binky. He had hoped to time it right so that he jumped clear over the buck in pursuit of him, but misjudged and landed facing the orange male with just enough time to scamper to one side and let the buck go charging passed. He caught his breath and called out to him.
"I'm Cocao! And, why not run? It's a lovely morning for it."
The blue-eyed buck looked up to the sky, his ears twitching every which way as he sniffed the air and in general enjoyed the feeling of being there at that very moment. Realizing that he'd gotten distracted, he shook his head as if to clear the clouds of thought and turned back to the other buck.
"A race you say?"
