The season was autumn and in the forest the tree's had started to shed there leaves leaving some bare whilst others still glowed the golden colours which made the season so special. The winter chill was just beginning to bite and the days where growing shorter. As what happened every year. Once again the cold weather was going to force Jo to head towards warmer parts because of the effect it had on his health.
The white stallion made his way through the forest. His hooves scraping the top layer of leaves away, the sun was setting and the intense light scratched though the branches making pattens in the ground. Jo smiled, he always loves this time of year it was ever so peaceful. He closed his bright blue eyes and took a moment to listen to all the little creatures which where scurrying about here, he took extra time to notice little things like the animals. They where his friends after all. Being a very religious creature he believed all life was equal and so the mice and rabbits meant as much to him as any other bigger animal did.
He opened his eyes to look at the glowing orange path in front of him, it was getting late and he knew his mate would worry if he was out too long. Maybe he should head back. Just as he spread his wings he thought he heard something, putting them back in place he looked around with a clueless an innocent expression/ "Hello?"
