"AWWWW, what a cute baby!" ... "HEY! LET ME HOLD MY BABY!" The nurse walked over to the mother who was laid upon the hospital bed, and handed her the bright-eyed boy. Of course, the room was filled tears and warmth from such a joyous moment. Wondering where the dad was? He was huddled in the corner of the room, spurting out tears of joy. How embarrassing. But wait, the mother looked down at her baby and removed it's head from the little sheet they held him in, and noticed that one of his ears was protruding in a rather awkward manner. With being a new mother, she was of course concerned and asked the doctor about it. All he could offer was surgery, since simply moving it wasn't the answer. Nervous, but determined, the mother new that it would be alright.
At the end of the surgery, the mother continued to lay in bed and the doctors and nurses walked in the room with pleased smiles. The surgery went well, and they told the couple that their baby was in the nursing room. The down-side was that he needed to stay in the hospital for the next few weeks until his ears healed underneath the patches they put upon the sides of his head. And with that said, the mother was worried that something terrible would happened while she wasn't at the hospital. See, she was going to be let out earlier than her newborn baby, Jeremiah who was now certified, and she didn't want to miss anything in case of emergency. She told the doctor this, and he knew of how she felt, but all she could do was simply wait it off. And of course, he offered that she could visit every day if needed. And so the parents did what they thought was best, and they came by everyday after she was released from the hospital. And then the day came when the parents could take Jeremiah home and remove the patches over his ears. Excited, the mother rushed her husband to hurry up on into the car, and to speed to the hospital. Of course, being rushed was one thing you wouldn't want when you were driving a car, and this was a habit for both of the parents. As soon as they arrived at the hospital, they immediatly ran for their baby. The doctor's took off the patches and revealed ears that would be seen on a regular, healthy boy. They had healed!
The rest of his life was revolved mainly around the animals that lived on his farm. Farming was an everyday subject, and Jeremiah loved the animals so very much. However, the days on his farm began to repeat day after day, and he started getting bored with his provincial life. Jeremiah decided to move away to a new land, seeking a new life on the farm. The life in Silver Lune sounded perfect!
