Twana wandered. She was at the outskirts of the Peke Na border, just bored, looking for something to study or even talk to. She had only just joined and knew very few. She could count how many friends she had on one paw. It saddened her a little but, if she had to choose between learning things and friends she'd forever choose learning things. Where that logic came from she doesn't know but, she has a strong heart towards learning and treasures it always. The beauty in it was thrilling and some experiences made her heart beat quicken enormously.
It was upon this little adventure she found a small pond and had begun pawing at it. Studying the different ripples and the effects her touching the surface had on her reflection and the reflections around her. The poor little fish swam quickly to get out of her way, thinking they were being hunted. She ahd no intentions though and actually didn't even notice the small bodies swimming furiously away from her swats.

Shubanu could here small splashes at the pond nearby and wondered if it was another member of the Peke Na pack. She knew she was near to the borders of the pack and did nothing to hide her presence. She'd met one of the members of the pack earlier and she liked him well enough. Shubanu made her was toward the lake and grinned seeing the younger pup splashing at water in the lake.
"Hello," she called as she approached the pup not wanting to scare her.

The other wild dog hadn't hid their appearance but, Twana wasn't really paying attention and at the hello she was startled and lost the balance she had thought she'd secured. The loss of balance and the nearness of the water cause Twana fall face first into it's shallow end. this displeased the fish even more who disappeared immediately and a soaked pup sits up a moment later a little dazed but muttering a return hello. In a few more seconds her vision came back. "Hi." She says happily. She stands and shakes a little, the water nearly up to her belly and takes a second before stepping onto dry land.
After shaking off a bit more water she sits and gathers in the sweet, sweet air.

Shu gasped slightly and moved forward to help right the younger pup, but she came up and other than being a little disoriented the little one seemed fine. She felt bad about startling and startling the other and patiently waited for her to be more stable and make her way back onto solid ground.
"I am sorry. I did not mean to startle you. It was an accident I assure you. I hope that you are okay." Shu turned her light gray eyes on the other pup and smiled, hoping her gentle and calm tone, carried through her sincerity.

Twana, not much for holding a grudge, just laughed with a big friendly grin. "Don't worry, no broken bones." She said happily. She shook one more time to get rid of the little droplets still forming on her otherwise drying coat. "So let's retry this. Hi! I'm Twana." She says, welcoming introductions.

Shubanu took a step back to avoid the drips of water flying her way, laughing slightly. She was very glad the pup seemed okay.
"Retry indeed," she Shubanu smiling, "I am Shubanu. It is very nice to meet you."
Shubanu sat before the pup Twana and thought of a way to make conversation and then it hit her, why was the pup out all alone anyway.
"What brings you out here by yourself? Surely your parents are looking for you," she said.

Twana gave a welcoming grin to the name. "Hello Shubanu, it's nice to meet you as well." Her fur had begun the drying process and Twana couldn't be more thankful, she didn't much like being wet anymore.
"I haven't seen my parents in a while actually.." She hadn't thought about it but, since she'd joined the Peke Na she hadn't saw her parents. The closest thing to family she had was a male pup she met before she had joined.
"So no one to look for me." She laughed softly and her tail wags a bit keeping cheery.
