Aha! What an excellent assignment! Normally, changing out the old glows for new ones was an assignment that Elae would have avoided with a passion. After all, it was mostly solitary work. Even kitchen work was better, since you at least got to be around other people. But these glows, the ones in the basket hanging off of the girl’s arm, were going to the Infirmary. Eeee. She could hardly keep her excitement to herself as she kept bouncing from one foot to another. No one had ever been so delighted at the thought of venturing into a place full of injuries, blood, and all sorts of awful smells. But! This was a perfect chance, she decided, to do a bit of exploring. And asking.

Surely, someone would know what had happened between Greenrider C’ren, Junior Weyrling Kallista, and Candidate Raena. After all, Raena was a Healer; she must have spoken to someone about it. All Elae knew for certain was this: Kallista had been seen kissing Raena out by the Lake. And, later on, a mightily shirtless C’ren had been seen leaving the Infirmary room known to hold both Raena and Kallista. He was also rather angry, but that took a backseat to the sheer shirtlessness of the man at the time. Now, to Elae, that meant only one thing: someone had tried to wrangle himself a threesome and had failed. But how could she learn for sure? Kallista wouldn’t talk to her and neither would C’ren. But Raena…

She just might. With all of this in mind, Elae hummed to herself tunelessly---and out of tune---as she skipped down the Infirmary halls. This became considerably more difficult since she wasn’t any good at skipping. Every time she went past a room, she slowed down to take a peek into it, hoping to catch a glimpse of her old friend. Honestly, it had been far too long since they’d had a chance to chat.

Basil, and chamomile goes here, and the feverfew, and... where's the coriander? Shards... He'd been given the task of organizing all the herbs, a rather monotonous task but one he actually enjoyed, because he'd unfortunately dropped a whole jar of a special oil. He hadn't been told why it was special or anything, just that it was - and he'd dropped it. Oh, not on purpose, of course, but it wasn't his fault that the healer's flit blended in perfectly with his favorite sleeping spot - on the floor, right behind the heel of anyone carrying some fragile object. Shards, that flit was more feline than dragon sometimes.

Inwardly cursing once more, the young apprentice gathered up an empty jar and rushed to the door, hoping to catch the elder before he left to go... wherever it was he went when he wasn't busy with his work as a healer.

Unfortunately for the both of them, Koios didn't know Elae was peering into the room, seeking information that he didn't have on people he didn't know. Thankfully though, the brown haired teen saw her before it was too late, and instead of crashing into her he pulled a very graceful maneuver. He tried to skid to a halt but slipped, flailing his arms around in a last-minute attempt to save himself from complete embarrassment, but alas. He landed in a heap on the floor, staring up at the girl and blinking rather cluelessly, at a loss of what to do or say. Getting up apparently hadn't entered his mind yet, so surprised was he to see someone there that wasn't a regular around the hall. "Err..."
