Quinn was on the hunt. This was interesting for him; the first time he had really been purposefully searching for a fight. Quetzalcoatl was pleased.
The hardest part was tracking down this boy. Quinn's memories of that day were still blurry. He knew he got angry at him for something; he couldn't remember his name. He remembered his hair, though. It was nice. And the wing-ear things. He remembered those, too.
And that he looked like a stoner.
Vale had said he had lost his memory. He knew that much. And he remembered the boy rubbing...sand into him?
Going by these basic facts, he had begun to track down the boy. He started by feeding a cat a fish, and telling it to tell all of its friends to help him find the boy. Very few things had turned up; just some gossip and some dead ends. One had led to the stoner part of the city, though-- a section of Downers.
Quinn hated downers.
He also hated this boy.
It made sense that he would be there.
This was the best lead he had to go on, so far. He decided to follow it. A bit more talking with the local wildlife (Even the cats here were uglier and more boring) he had zoned in on one particular building. Finding his way to the top of it, he was now crouched on the roof, staring down at the entrance.
That boy was gonna get it. And then he was going to go home and have dinner with his housewife Vale.
He grinned, and ran his tongue along his new fangs.
This would be fun.

Dreams, Seth never had any dreams when he was sleeping. If he did, they'd have to be awfully long ones at that since he slept whole days at the time between his even longer bouts of insomnia.
Now it was nearly midday, two days since he remembered doing anything, that was normal for him. Seth went through his morning routine despite lunch time soon passing, showering, eating what little he had for breakfast and slipping into his outside clothing.
He sighed as he tidied his hair and feathers in the mirror, it was doing to be another day of fruitlessly looking for a job, or at least a past time. Looking around his tiny apartment, he couldn't clean to pass today away, even though his bed was just a mattress on the floor, the whole place was in a currently emasculate state (Save for some sand gathering in the corners). It was sad really.
He headed off, he'd need to go to midding or further afoot, there defiantly wasn't any work going any where in his dump. He zipped up his hoodie and up the hood up as he left, trying to look as normal as possible.

Quinn saw the boy as soon as he left the house. The hoodie bothered him-- it seemed...so familiar. He had a flashback of the boy's face, and knew this was his target. His face set into a grin, and he made his way to the fire escape of the building, running down it on his toes.
There were lots of helpful fire escapes in the City.
He made his way down to the street, and slipped close behind the boy. He wasn't exactly subtle; his dress sense called more than enough attraction to itself. He wasn't trying to be subtle, though. He was here to make a point.
You don't mess with Quinn.
His memory still wasn't clear on why he fought the boy in the first place, but he knew there must have been a good reason. He had no reasons but good ones.
Running up behind the boy, he reached up and yanked down the boy's hood from behind. Thanks to his recent growth spurt, he was taller than the boy, and he looked down grinning.
"Hey, you. Remember me?"

Seth's mind was else where, that and the sound of people running behind wasn't exactly out of place in this neighbourhood. He could deal with that sort, but he hardly expected their first target to be his hood. His wings repeated their reaction and stretched out for all the world to see.
"Damn mortals" Seth spun around to see who was trying to bother him now.
Well....it's not like he knew a lot of flamboyantly dressed feathered blond people now did he?
But, he was taller, a lot taller than anyone could grow in the time since they'd met, and feathery-ier. And, this was what worried Seth, he remembered him. He's always assumed his short term memory lose was permanent. He'd never seen any evidence to prove it, but, he'd never seen any to deny it either.
Something wasn't right here.
"Quinn right?" He tried to relax and act like nothing has happened. His hands where already in his pockets, palming what sand was in there.

Quinn frowned. The boy was acting far too chill. "Yah. It's Quinn." He paused. "I don't remember your name. And I'm pretty sure that's your fault." He lifted his fists up. "And now I'm gonna finish what I started!" He grinned, and took a few steps back, out of arm's reach. Lightning crackled around him.
"Anything you want to say, first?" He opened one of his fists palm up, and a small ball of lightning began gathering above it. He glared at the other boy.
Quinn was itching for a fight. And he was going to get one.

Seth wasn't exactly chill, this was just how it almost always looked. He might have been internally bricking it, but pulling aghast facial expressions (Or any for that matter) wasn't some he was inclined to do. It sort of worked, judging by Quinns own reaction, he seemed to be sort of disappointed by his own reaction, or lack thereof.
"Seth" He stated again, for what now must have been the fourth time.
Lightening, yeah, that stuff really hurt last time. Now he was scared, this guy just wanted to beat him up now.
"Your the the one who attacked me first" He shrugged, he probably wasn't going to remember anyway. "I didn't start anything"

Quinn frowned. This was a lie. It was a lie, right? A total lie. Lies, lies, lies. Nothing he said could possibly be truthful, and trusting him would be stupid. Because all he did was lie. Therefore, it made perfect sense to smack him in the face. He didn't remember exactly what happened, so he couldn't have started it, right?
Quinn's mind was in hyperactive overdrive. Convincing himself that he was completely justified in smacking someone in the face with lightning was stressful.
But not stressful enough to stop him.
He slammed his arms out and shot the ball at the other boy's face, lightning hitting him hard. He growled, and his hands clenched and unclenched at his sides.
"Seth, huh? That's a nice name."

Looks like he didn't believe him, figures. Quinn had absolutely no reason to believe him if his memories started at the point were they where fighting each other.
"Urrrrgh" Seth couldn't reacted in time, he was hit in the face by a ball of quick dissipating ball of lighting. It stunned him for a moment, numbing his senses, his visions slowly returned to him as he clutch his face, not to much avail since his face couldn't feel a thing now.
That was a hell of a lot more painful a lot time.
"Fine, if you want to start this again" He blinked as he spoked, trying to unblur his sight. At least had learned when he should try and fight someone off.
His pulled his hands from his face and drew sand from his pockets, throwing it at the colourful person shaped blob that was Quinn.

Quinn felt the sand hit his face, and he shook it off bruskly. He remembered why he was here. He remembered the boy. What he didn't remember was that he had already attacked him.
He began to charge up another lightning ball, backing away from the boy to get out of arms reach. In the process, however, he tripped, and the ball fell out of his hand and hit him in the chest. He gasped as the shocks coursed through his body, and his whole body clenched up for a moment, until all of the electricity had flowed into the ground.
It wasn't fun.

While making someone forget they where in a fight worked for him last time, it didn't quite have that same effect if the the person in question was already intending to knock his lights out. It only made it forget he'd already tried to zap him with lighting once.
If he continued using his forgetfulness powers on Quinn this wasn't going to go anywhere, sleep would have to do. He didn't have much sand on him but he'd have to make do with what he had.
While Quinn was stunned he he took more sand and tired to get it on his chest. it had been his intention to try and get it stuck to Quinn's clothes so he could keep leeching at his stamina as the sand clung to him. Though in his own state of confusion from his blurred sight, it'd slipped his mind that Quinn wasn't wearing a shirt, or much clothing at all for that matter.

Quinn, after having convulsions from his own lightning and being punched while laying on his back on the ground, was not feeling particularly graceful. He tossed himself up carelessly and launched a punch at the other boy, missing by inches and stumbling behind him, managing to not fall over this time.
Ugh. What is wrong with me? Why can't I fight? I don't know, Quinn. Perhaps it is because you were hit in the manparts by a clock this morning? That could explain it. Yah. I'll blame it on that.

Whilst Quinn stumbled, Seth reached for what little left remained from his sand in his pockets.
But, here was unfortunately an unexpected gust of wind that blew the sand from Seth's open palm, picking it up and blowing it up into his own face. For the first time Seth got a taste of what his powers did to people, normally it didn't effect him, but this was too abrupt to stop himself becoming and dazed confused.
Seth stood there for a moment, his mind now blank, unable to put his thoughts back together. He shook his head, his head wings beat, a small shower of sand falling out in all directions.

Quinn finally felt like he could make a good hit. The boy had dazed himself, and Quinn decided to take the low road.
He leapt at the other boy, fangs bared.
He knocked the boy over on the ground, his teeth ripping into the boy's neck, injecting venom immediately into the other boy's wound. He savored the taste of the blood, licking it off of his teeth when he pulled away from the boy.
He shivered.
Blood shouldn't taste that good.

Recovering from your own self induced daze didn't mean much if as soon as you snapped out of it, someone else knocked you clean off your feet onto your a** and sunk their teeth into your neck. Thankfully that doesn't happen too often, save for just now.
Seth screamed rather embarrassingly, albeit quietly with Quinn biting down on his neck. Immediately there was unpleasant sensation of the venom entering his bloodstream.
He clutched his neck with one arm while he flailed, pushing Quinn anyway from him. The venom taking effect, he started panting heavily, beads of sweat forming whilst he struggled to draw breath now, his bodies strength slowly being sapped away.
"Wha..what...wa"

Quinn grinned and glared down at the boy, fangs bared proudly. The boy was vulnerable. He could kill him, if he wanted to. He could zap the boy with another blast of lightning. He could take a chunk out of a major vein, this time.
"Don't mess with my memory again."
He didn't.
"If you ******** with my mind any more, I'll leave you more than just sick. Remember that."
The game was getting serious.
"The name's Quinn, like I said. Quinton Moreau. Remember it." He felt like saying something cheesy.
"Long live Quetzalcoatl," He recited from what he remembered from his dream. He spat on the ground, then turned his back to the boy, starting his walk back to middling.
"Long live the bright morning star."
