She was working on the ninth one, glaring at it. The first eight had all come out the same, and you think she would have believed what each of those EPT tests were telling her. However this fairy was still doubting them all. As she looks down at the ninth one, finding it also said positive, she threw it onto the floor with the others. Grabbing the tenth one, she rips the package up as she slams the door. This had to be a trick someone was pulling on her. She was told she couldn't get pregnant, that the attack had caused damage, So she found it scary that these things were saying otherwise. ~~~~~~ Seiji sat in the living room with Nirendra and Sellexi, trying to keep the two girls from heading down the hallway. From the way things were getting thrown, he figure something wasn't right and decided to just stay clear. Nirendra looks down the hallway as she leans sideways, her eyes wide as she heard the slam. Glancing towards Seiji, she frowns before she covers her own ears. It was far to loud for her, and she didn't like the tension in the air. ~~~~~~ Rose glances at her sister Kayla as they move slowly down the hallway "You know we're both about to die, right?" as she gets the hush sound from Kayla, she finds herself hissing as the door opens to the bathroom. As another EPT is thrown right at them, Rose ducks only to hear it smack Kayla in the face. Looking up at her sister, Kayla growls as Rose takes the test. Flipping it over, Rose's eyes widen as she looks at it. By the goddess, was this fairy pissed.

Zhane was blissfully unaware of the swarming hornet's nest that lurked in the bathroom as he came in the front door, carrying the grocery bags of things he'd been sent out for.
They'd been out of bread, out of juice, out of eggs, out of pancake mix, and she'd asked him for a bag of grapes, a container of cottage cheese, and a jar of olives. It had seemed like a bizarre combination of things, but who was he to judge?
At least she was eating....though she'd continued to be sick, as well. As quickly as she'd send things down, they'd be sent right back up again. It was worrying. But at least she hadn't been opposed to seeing a doctor. ....which she was supposed to have done that morning, in fact.
"Hey guys." he greeted the children as he passed by the couch, moving to set the bags on the counter. When he was met with silence, he peered back around the corner of the kitchen threshold to eye them oddly.
"Something happen?" he inquired. Usually they were only THIS quiet when they'd finally pushed Nani or Rose a tad too far and gotten themselves in trouble.

Seiji doesn't say a word, all he does is point down the hallway. Then covers his ears as a high pitch scream come from Kayla. Folding his wings around his body, he pulls Nirendra and Sellexi closer to him, in order to keep them both there.
Rose was the first to come back running down the hallways, soaked from head to toe. Kayla followed soon after her, she was also covers in water. As they both shake their head, they look up at Zhane before they take a step back away from him.
Kayla, however, goes to hide the item in her hands behind her.

He'd jolted visibly at the scream, and now, as the two felines who had come barrelling out skidded to a halt in his shadow, he felt his expression lapse into one of puzzlement.
"What's going on?" he asked Rose and Kayla, the groceries forgotten for the moment. "And why are the two of you drenched?"
Maybe the kids had done something to horribly back up the toilet or tub. It certainly would explain the current scenario of soaked cats and children looking like they were about to go on trial well enough. He vented a sigh, rubbing at his temples. If it wasn't one thing it was another.
"Well...?" he asked, his eyes scanning the sea of silent faces. SOMEONE surely had an explanation...

None of the kids actually said anything, in fact all three of them looked away from Zhane. Seiji chews on his bottom lip before he sighs "Mom not feeling well again, and she pulled out some tests..." looking to Kayla he points at the item in her hand.
Kayla sighs before she holds out her hand "We know she'll be happy about this later. Its just she kindof freaking out.." holding the ept out to Zhane she shakes her head once again.
Rose sighs before she wrinkles her small pink nose up "Lets put it this way Zhane. Don't go down the hallway, unless you plan on seeing an angry fairy."

"Tests? What're you--" he cut himself off, hearing the rising irritation in his voice. He didn't like being kept in the dark, he liked it even less when everybody was being purposely vague, and he ESPECIALLY didn't like it when it was something involving Nani. And they were pulling all three at once.
Ignoring Rose's warning, he stepped past her and Kayla and into the hallway, moving quickly down it until he reached the closed bathroom door. Drawing in a breath, he knocked sharply.
"Nani...? You all right?"

As the door opens, a rather anger fairy stares at Zhane for a moment. Frowning she shakes her head as she holds out the box. "Tell me Zhane, what in the goddess does that say? Please tell me that its wrong..." her voice held anger, but she was trying to hold it back as this was Zhane. She didn't want to upset him or anything, she was just really confused at this point.

If she was confused, he was doubly-so. He'd yet to see her in such a state, and this was as close to enraged as she had been since they'd met. He eyed the box, and then reached out to take it from her, turning it label-up.
He felt his insides give a lurch at what it was, his eyes darting back to Nani with shock evident in them.
"I don't..." he faltered, his eyes falling back to the empty box and scanning the print. "What does what say? What am I looking for?" Maybe, in some desperate stretch of the truth, this wasn't what he thought it was.

Tinania was trying so hard not to cry, she was actually trembling again. Taking a rather uneasy breath, she lifts her shaking hand to the box. Pointing at the plus symbol that would indicate pregnant "Does that symbol match up with the one on the stick?" she was hoping that maybe it was a mistake. That after taking one after another, they were just all messed up.
Looking up at Zhane, she bites hard at her bottom lip "Is that really a plus sign? Is that actually saying I'm..." she couldn't even get the word to come out. "Please tell me that test is lying, just like the doctor was to me this morning..."

His eyes fell to the applicator indicators, one a blue plus sign, the other a pink negative. Test? Where was he--
....and was suddenly reminded of the plastic stick that Kayla had offered to him in the other room that he'd ignored in his haste to see what was going on. s**t...
"....just a minute." he muttered, turning briskly from the bathroom to venture back out into the hallway, finding it was taking all of his willpower not to just run straight at the already-rattled cats who were still standing where he'd left them.
Nearing Kayla, he plucked the plastic applicator out of her paws. Rude? Yes. But at the moment, he was a bit beyond courtesy. He held it up to have a look at it, peering into its plastic window.
Positive.
His eyes flew wide. Oh, damn...

Backing away from the door, Tinania moves to sit on the edge of the tub. Looking down at all the test, each saying the same thing. Closing her eyes, her shoulders actually fall as she shakes her head. Ad she lifts her hands to cover her face, her hair blocks her hands. She wasn't crying, not yet at least.
If anything, she was in more control right now then ever.
Seiji glances at Zhane, before she steps away from Nirendra. Moving towards Zhane, he pauses as he feels Nirendra grab onto the back of his shirt. Turning around, he sigh then shakes his head.
Sellexi hides slightly behind Nirendra, her eyes wide as she looks at the adult. She wasn't sure what was going on, but it couldn't be good.
Rose and Kayla stand there, at this point really unsure as to what they should do. As Rose glances towards the children, she shakes her head then nudges her sister "Come on, let take them outside." moving carefully pass Zhane, she bends down to pick up Sellexi.
kayla nods as she follows after her sister, picking up Nirendra. tapping Seiji's shoulder she gets him to follow her as they head out the door.

He was barely-aware of the rest of the household filing out, far away from the unstable powder keg that this situation was. His eyes remained glued to the plus sign for several long moments.
Those things aren't always accurate, you know... a little voice told him, trying to offer some sort of comfort. .....except, hadn't she mentioned something about a doctor telling her the same thing? For that, the little voice had nothing and fell back into whatever cranny of his brain it had crawled out of.
He let out a breath he'd been holding for the last moment, his eyes wandering back to the hallway before he forced himself forward, and back into the bathroom where Nani was perched on the edge of the bathtub.
Moving gingerly, he sat down beside her, the applicator still tweezed between the thumb and forefinger of one hand as the other went around her shoulders. For a long moment, there was silence as he sought his voice.
"This...." he began, clearing the tension out of his throat before he continued. "....this is going to be all right, Nani." he told her, trying to reassure them both. "I know we hadn't....exactly planned on it like this..."
That was an understatement. They had not discussed having children at all aside from one or two passing mentions. He'd assumed they'd been in unspoken agreement that Seiji, Ren, and Lexi were more than enough for now.

Tinania looks up at Zhane, before she actually stand "Zhane, this has to be a mistake. I was told a long time ago, that I couldn't have any kids. After my attack as a teenager." shaking her head again, she moves her hand to the side, just where her hips meet.
Rubbing at the area where the scar would be, she looks back at Zhane "I mean...if I am...they..." she covers her mouth as she bites down hard on her bottom lip. Taking another deep breath, she looks up at the ceiling.
She never told him what had happen after her attack, or the attack for that matter. And she didn't want to have to relive it. It was just too much right now, and just thinking about it was too much.
Walking out of the bathroom, she walks down the hallway into her bedroom. Moving to her closet, she pulls it open then reaches up onto the shelf.

As she got up to leave, he followed after her, trailing into her room to watch as she rummaged in the closet. No, she'd told him nothing of this...there was a lot, in fact, she'd told him nothing of.
He was never prepared for when another layer of her would be peeled back, offering him just a little more depth into who she was and what she'd been through, but he'd done his best to take it in stride as they'd gone. And right now was no exception, despite the fact his heart was still racing and his stomach felt like the bottom had fallen out of it.

Tinania pulls down an old journal, one that she put away a long time ago. Turning to look at Zhane, she holds it out to him "here, its easier if you just read it. What I went through just before I turned twenty one." flipping her journal open, she flips to a page that look like it was semi smeared from what looks like tears.
On the page, it goes into detail about an attack from a man she knew since she was a child. How she was trying to defend him off, but he had pulled a knife on her. And as he stabbed her, he knocked her to the ground. So not only was she bleeding from her hip, but her head also cracked open on a rock.
To the doctors telling her she could never have kids. In the corner of the page, was an actually drawing of her scar. Which to her, as she put it in the journal look much like a spider.
As it gets further down the page, she first talks about the first time she found out she was pregnant. But shortly afterwards losing the child, then the second and third.
In her writing, she was blaming herself. Saying she was pushing herself, and not allowing herself a chance to just relax. But then she was happy because she wanted to still have a chance to live her life.
Looking down at the ground, she takes another deep breath before she looks up at Zhane "I should have told you, but I honestly thought.." she didn't know what she thought. But at this point, she was worried she made a huge mistake by not telling Zhane.
