So we all know we all love Twilight, but what do your parents and/or relatives think about the novels/movie/all the merchandise/etc etc?

My mom knows I love Twilight because I squeal like a 8 year old everytime I see it somewhere, but she's not into it at all. She just accepts that I'm going to act like a giggling 12 year old and kind of rolls her eyes at me.
She doesn't know who Rob is, but if I point out "Edward!!" she knows exactly which guy I'm talking about. Other than that she really doesn't know [or care to know] too much about it.

So what about you guys?

Lol i've much the same if i something twilight i have to nose in and see what it is and my family just walk away and are like talk2hand we don't know her.

and i'll stand there for at least 10 mins before they relise i'm not going any where till i look in here with my dads wallet XD LOL

My parents are divorced and I haven't lived with my mom for several years now, so I was a little disturbed when my mom revealed she knew I liked Twilight. I know for a fact that I had never discussed it with her before she sent me links for how to throw a Twilight themed party or told me I should throw one since getting the DVD was going to be difficult.

I have no idea what my mom actually thinks of the books or the movie, but she's very aware that I like it and has bombarded me with stuff to do that's Twilight related. She's sent me links for Twilight party decorating ideas, recipes for fake blood or both edible and costume verities, and mailed me news clippings about the books from the papers where she lives.

I'm actually starting to wonder if she likes Twilight more then me.

Here's where I'm going to use the powers of assumption here..
But I'm guessing you live with your father..so maybe he leaked the info to your mom? Or if your parents are anything like mine they're hardly on speaking terms so maybe your mom noticed that there was a lot of hype over the series and wanted to see if you were part of that?
I think its sweet though, it seems like she's trying to make an effort to connect? Unless she's not like that and it was mere coincidence that she picked Twilight to bombard you with?
