ill never finish my essay. i can't find the information for my volcano. why do all the sites i click on never say whether the stupid volcano is dormant, extinct, or active? gonk PAIN! crying

i need to find information about the volcano Whakamaru but i can't find anything. and if anyone is willing to help that would be nice but i would feel bad for asking. =( right now im stuck on question 3. is it dormant, extinct, or active? i can't find it anywhere! gonk i choose the wrong volcano obviously but its too late to change it because the essay is due tomarrow. gonk

About 150,000 years ago new activity formed a pumice-rich ignimbrite found along the northern shores of the lake, several basalt scoria cones and tuff rings about Acacia Bay and Mt. Tauhara. Our knowledge of this time intervals is very incomplete as few deposits of this age are exposed."

From what I've read, it's dormant.
But I'm not positive.
Look up dormant volcanoes in New Zealand.
In the North, because that's where it is, and are you
sure it isn't Whakamuru?

i looked it up and it said most of their volcanoes are dormant in that area so its highly possible. 3nodding im pretty sure it is whakamaru. o_o Thank you medri! your the best! crying
