I like pretty much everything about the band I'm in right now.
But I'll vote for instrument, since mine is still relatively new to me, and I love it a lot more than my last instrument. lol.

I play because I love being able to have something to go to to help me relax and have something to do. I do it because I love playing and being able to express myself, not through words, but with musical notes instead.. Like each individual note represents a letter.

I play in band because I just LOVE that feeling you get in your stomach when everyone plays together, and it sounds so fantastic that you get butterflies and you feel like you're on top of the world.
That and I generally enjoy it and love the people.

I joined because I heard it was fun .___. and because I wouldn't have been made fun of just because I play an instrument, yea, all the people in my regular classes think I'm a freak for playing something.
I joined my cadet corp's band because nearly all the flutes left the band for some other jobs as Staff cadets or Divisional Petty Officers and stuff like that ._.

people in my family befor me have played so at first i felt presured...but then when i joined i loved it...i love the people my insturment and mostly everything about it...i love music so much it makes me feel relaxed and free...plus with all the stuff ive been going through laitly i need more music to cheer me up so i dont act unhappy around others

The fun was whyh I chose band. The most fun part was the contests. The practices where fun when someone did something crazy.
