I play trumpet and I've always used a 7C. Does anyone ever use the plastic bright coloured ones though? Cos I was thinking about getting one, but I don't know if they're any good. I use a 4B on the cornet that I have to play in my Brass Band.

surprised my trumpet friend says plastic mouthpieces are only good for marching, cause they don't get cold/hot very fast...he says they don't have a very..concert-like tone

My mouthpiece is for horn. I believe it is a Holton Farkas MDC. I'm not sure if I spelled that right.
