This is where the office of the Seventh division Captain does most of his priority work. Designed to the captain's comfort, it is a relaxing environment.

Kane walked down the hallway going towards the office, dusting himself offand trying to act and look a bit professional. He was a short dude you could tell with short black hair that obviously didn't know what a comb was, it was messy andall over the place, and very spiky too. His gray eyes were lookingat nothing but his destination: The door to the Taicho's office. Coming in front of the door, he checked himself over before putting a smile on his face and knocking on the door, obviously the smile was to hide the fact he was a little nervous right now.

Sitting in his office he had returned from the trial that had taken place. Goining off to finish up some work, he cared little about the outcome of Kazei and the others. Hearing a knock on his door he looked up over his desk. "Come in!" He announced.

Very slowly, Kane turned the doorknob and opened the door, a little bit of nervousness even his smile can't cover up. He then sauntered over to the desk and sttod there with his hands behind his back, obviously you can tell he wasn't threatening because his dagger size Zanpakuto was sheathed on his arm. Bowing his head a little he then began to spoke.

"Morning Akuma-Taicho. I am Kane Shishio, hopefully your new Lieutenant of your squad. I just came in to let you know and whether you wished to have me as your Lieutenant or no?"

Looking up from his desk one more time he noticed to his side Kane's file. Pulling it before him he started to review it. "What's the best offence?" He asked bluntly and without warning.

Kane was taken aback. He didn't get a greeting back, or even a "Hi" he was immediately asked a question. Now he pondered this question over for a little while before he finally replied with his answer.

"It all depends on the situation. If a force is larger than yours and you have to protect something, the best offence is an excellent defense. if you got the superior numbers, the best offense is an overwhelming attack."

"Wrong." Akuma answered. "However your answer is like any other's with the knowledge of a battle. The best offence has not yet been answered, thus the seventh division. We are here to create the best offence and the perfect defence." He explained. Closing the file he looked up at Kane with a stern look on his face. However that quickly changed when he reached forward to shake the mans hand. "Welcome aboard." His face kind, but still strong.

(Got to go to bed^-^)

When he first heard Akuma's answer Kane immediately thought that he was not going to be accepted as Lieutenant of the Seventh Division. However hearing that all other applicants have said the same thing, other's who have knowledge of battle like him, and explaining the task of the Seventh Divison, he sighed in relief. This reliefturnedto jubilation when he shook his Taicho's hand and was now welcomed into the Seventh Division. His happiness was so great, his already big smile grew even bigger.

"Thank you Akuma-Taicho, I am glad to be onboard."

Standing up from his desk, Akuma walked around. "I trust you took a little tour of the place for yourself?" He asked as he stood before him. "I wouldn't want you to get lost if I had to send you somewhere." He mentioned as he walked toward the door and opened it.

"That I did do sir. I took the tour before I came here."

Kane answered as he noticed Akuma beginning to open the door out of hsi office. Puzzeled he just had to ask what he was doing.

"What or where are you doing Akuma-Taicho?"

Laughing he looked back toward Kane. "It's three o'clock. I do my rounds at three. Keeps the other members on time." He explained as he started out the door and around the corner. Stopping for a second his mid half of his body poked back around the corner at a slanted degree facing back to Kane. "You wanna come?" He asked.

"Yeah Akuma-Taicho."

Kane answered without skipping a beat as he quickly walked out of the office and proceeded to follow Akuma to wherever he's going.

(From Earth)

As Kane strolled into his new office, he noticed a new Captain's Haori waiting for him laying on the desk. As Kane slowly put the new robes on and took of his old Lieutenant's badge and put that in a drawer, he realized the Haori is just right for his body, at just the right length and in general fits perfectly. With that Kane proceeded to walk out towards where the Commander General would be, with his newlook, he'll be able to talk to Yata-sama as an equal so to speak.

Kyo walked into his Captains office as he looked around to see if his captain was actually there. Once Kyo figured out that his Captain was there he bowed to him and said to him.

"Captain Kane, Is there anything you would like for me to do. Would you have me train or would you have me do something else Captain."

Kyo awaited for his captain to speak and tell him what he had wanted him to go out an do.
