Still new to her pride, Adanna was adjusting to life as a group. She didn't wander too much, she was part of the defenses for the lands, and she had to help feed the pride.
On her time at guard duty, she took a break with a tree to her back. She was feeling sluggish after meeting briefly with the heiress. She would never let her cubs be that rude nor would she let them wander seemingly alone.
With a final yawn, she set back out going Westward hoping for some excitement or maybe even some game for dinner for everyone later.

Mito was roaming the lands. Though he wasn’t feeling particularly welcome, really, he still felt it was perfectly fine for him to look around so long as he didn’t wander into the pride. Though, it was a little difficult not to wander into the pride when he didn’t know exactly where the boarders of it were.
No matter, he could wing it. He’s leave if someone started yelling at him.
As he continued along, he noticed a white a blue female not too far ahead of him. Smiling slightly, he moved carefully forward. The last female he’d encountered hadn’t been the nicest thing on the planet. Clearing his throat, he stopped a few people away from her. “Hello there!” he offered brightly, “you part of the pride here, or another rogue getting hopelessly lost?”

Looking up, she sighed and got to her feet. "I'm part of the pride here. What can I do for you? Have you come to join us?" She smiled and walked over to him. In her past experiences, being friendly was the best way to keep others from feeling alienated.
With a slight bat of her eyelashes, she took him in. He was careful, not coming too close. He was also wary in his body positioning. He hadn't had too many good experiences with females possibly.

"Nah, no offense, but this pride didn't come across as the most inviting earlier. I met another member the other day- some leader of the house or something like that. Anyway, she wasn't particularly friendly to me. I suppose that's a sign I'm not really the right type for this place." He smiled, unwilling to just assume that she was going to be rude to him too, mostly because he was going to try a little harder not to piss her off.
"I'm not much of a pride lion in general, I suppose, but it's nice that you have a home for yourself here!" Watching her, he smiled, bowing his head respectfully. "My name is Mito. What's yours?"
Hopefully he would get a real name this time.

Adanna raised an eyebrow. Another female? It was possible that he met Akasha. She wasn't the nicest person. "I am sorry to hear that. We are still new so we are a little testy. I'm Adanna." There was no way he would get her pride name. "You never know." She said walking up to him, "you could always belong, there's always a second chance. Unless you killed one of ours we won't be too hostile."

Mito laughed at that, watching her. "Oh? Well I suppose I must be safe, then, as I'm not really the killing-kind. I mean, unless I accidentally sit on someone and don't notice it." He wiggled at that, just to let his belly move about a bit. For him, his weight was more of a conversation tool than anything to be ashamed of.
He enjoyed being tubby.
"It's nice to meet you Adanna. I mean, really. I was starting to think all the lionesses, both pridal and rogue, had some secret meeting and they all agreed to hate me."

She laughed. "Well I hope you do not sit on me. Not that I would let you." She smiled at him. "I haven't conspired with any lionesses. You must not be very nice to them. What brings you out this way?" She asked suddenly. Maybe she could convince him to join. He was easy to talk to.

"Hey, you wouldn't have to let me," Mito chuckled, replying quickly, "I'm pretty quick for a fatty. But don't worry, I only use my powers for good. I promise I won't sit on you." Unless it would make her laugh, of course. He liked her smiling at him.
It had been a long time since he had been in the company of a friendly female. A very long time.
"I'm very nice to them, that's why it's so confusing!" he complained, "I'm not a bad lion. I'm just exploring. I figured it was time to look around a bit- I've stuck in one area for too long, you know?"

She laughed at his expense. He wasn't too bad. Nothing like her old family. If he thought females should be beneath males, she would already been in a fight. So he wasn't bad, but was he good?
"You should be careful as you explore. Not many like trespassers. After our chat you'll have to go the way you came." She said this with a smile, she didn't really want him to leave. "If you do leave."

"Oh, trust me," Mito replied, almost humming, "I know not everyone can be friendly. But I think that only makes exploring more fun, you know? Plus it's better to learn what places to avoid at some point in life. Wouldn't want to go into the wrong pride should I need help with anything." He smiled, shrugging his large shoulders.
"But there's no need for me to leave yet, unless you think I'm causing trouble. I'll go if you'd like me to." He wanted her to say no- it was fun talking to her.
Though it would probably be dark by the time he started walking again.

"Of course not!" She replied. "Do you think I could be friendly?" It was a big question. If he said yes then maybe there was hope for the race. If he said no then he would be leaving with one mark or two from her.
She laughed as she mentally imagined him and her fighting. It would be different. Her opponents were usually as quick as her, if not faster.

The large lion seemed to muse over the question, but he was only doing it to draw out the answer for fun. "I don't think you could be friendly," he replied after a moment, "mostly because I've already decided that you -are- friendly. You seem to be very nice and I'm quite glad I had the chance to meet you."
He watched her a moment, before grinning. "What about me? I hope I haven't made a bad impression on you too."

She was intent on his answer, either he was joking with her or he was seriously thinking about her question. Her face flashed to one of anger then back to friendliness. He was close to getting a swat.
"Well. You seem to be afraid of females, which is a little...different. But you seem very nice and sweet. So where is your mate? Surely a lucky lady has you. There had to be more nice females besides me, that you have met.

Afraid of females? Oh boy, she had the wrong idea. The large male chuckled softly, his smile amused but kind. "Oh no, I'm not afraid of females, dear. Maybe the ones around here and the ones I've met recently, before you, but in general we tend to get along very well. I have a lot of lady friends who are all very sweet and I'm happy to know them. One of my best friends is a female- her name is Ivie. She lives quite far from here, however." He sighed softly. Now he was starting to miss his friends. Still, he was enjoying the company of the new friend he was making.
"And, to answer your question, I don't have a mate. Perhaps one day... but not right now. What about you? Got a fella to call your own?"

She was dumbstruck. She was wrong? For the first time in so long she had been told she was wrong with her assumption. Well if he had a girl best friend then he could understand females a little more than most.
"Nope. No mate for me. Haven't found the one. Hopefully he'll wander onto my pride's lands, and we meet. I try to stay close to the pride. I'm sure it will hinder my chances of finding him, but I shan't worry. I'm keeping my eyes open, but none have caught my eye, yet."
