hey, with the new patch coming out and all, are you guys going to bother to dual spec? like, i can think of a few classes where it would be really useful (e.g. pallies, shammies, priests...) but with the other classes like mages and locks and stuff... is it worth it? i just wanna hear your opinion is all... are you gonna do it? or should i save my gold?

Well my main is a resto shammy so yeah I'm planning to get dual-spec when I save up some more gold (just recently got some more gear so massive gold drop again!). My Shammies dual-spec is of course gonna be resto and ele. I've played both for such a long time, it'll be nice to switch back and forth.

As for my alt, my DK, not too sure. I've always been Unholy...not sure what I'd like to try out. xp

For classes where you can't switch between roles, it's nice if you want to have dual specs for pve and pvp since talent builds and glyphs typically differ between the two.

I've specced my lock heavy destro for raiding but shes afflic for pvp. I find the dual spec to be very helpful hehe.

This! Most people I know are pvp and pve spec. I am holy/disc at the moment. If you dont pvp its still useful having 2 different raiding specs sometimes cause different talents might be useful in different raid setups or boss fights.
