Valter watched them enter. A certain pride rising in him, but he quickly squelched it. Walking in after them. going up to his chamber and sitting there alone.:Aluthicar Svenn:
Aluthicar remained silent. What did you say to someone you hadn't seen in a long time. A person you thought and were told was dead. He clutched his hands together behind his back and looked up at the tall ceiling. Art abounded down the hall. Pictures of ancient battles. As he entered the Lounge, It was a large room, books stacked high upon shelves, and a roaring fireplace lit the room. A large crimson couch and arm chairs was the centerpiece, facing the fire. Books were in stacks around the floor, and the art pieces seemed to have been sitting there since ancient times. It was quite dusty. He kneeled and began to pick up a stack of books.

She was also still trying to figure out why the master would lie to her. Even while beating her senseless he had yelled about her being the reason he needed to get a new slave. Aluthicar moved around the room slowly, putting books up on the shelf anf arranging them in order. Soon he found himself next to Ember. An impulsive reaction came over him, and befor he knew it, he had leaned over and kissed her lips softly. After parting he blushed and looked away. "Erm....Sorry," He mumbled quietly, his head so confused that he did not know why he had done that.

After they had been separated she had been beaten all the time until she closed off most of her emotions. The only ones she had let stay were her longing to see him again and her sadness. Everything else had just slowly vanished, she wasn't even really sure what to say back to him. "Hm," was the only reply she gave him. They finished the room swiftly in the silence, as Aluthicar focused on work to keep his mind busy. He did not know whether yo cry, scream, or both. So he remained silent. His emotions tore him apart inside. He blamed himself for giving up. For letting go. But above all his emotions, he was scared. The master had said it was ok, but he was still afraid that he would lose her gain. And he knew that after that, he would be beyond saving.

She watched Aluthicar warily, she stilled loved him yes, but she was scared to use such a feeling. Finally he summoned the courage to speak, as he walked to a shelf and facing away from Ember, taking a book and opening it, scanning the pages. "What happened...After we were seperated," He asked. "What did they do to you Ember?" He wa thankful he was facing away from her, for a tear slowly made it's way down his cheek, and stained the page he was veiwing.

¤¸¸.•´¯`•.¸•..>>--» {{Ember}} «--<<..•.¸¸•´¯`•.¸¸¤ Ember wasn't sure what to say back, to tell the truth she didn't really want him to know anything nor did she want to lie to him. "They beat me senselessly again and again each day over until they drove me mad." She answered him without going into detail she shivered at some of the memories that began to resurface, but locked them away again. She didn't want him to know the horrible things she went through, she had been broken after he had been supposedly killed but to top it off they had to beat her anyways, until they thought she was broken. ¤•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.☆★ ✗ ★☆•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.¤

It hurt him to hear her say that. He closed the book softly, making a quiet thump as it did. He gripped it close to his chest and turned around, tears flowing freely now as he looked at the ground. "I'm sorry," He said softly. "I shouldn't have asked yo to run with me. I should have kept it all a secret. I should have just let it be the way it was. I shouldn't...I...Ah..." He stopped himself. He couldn't speak anymore. He was on the vrge of cracking. He shivvered as he tried to hold it all in.

She got up and went over to him. "No one can change the past. And thinking about things that have already happened and in no way could be altered now is pointless." She was surprised about how cold that had come out, she hadn't meant for it to come out that way. She touched his shoulder and looked into his eyes. "There is nothing you can do about it now," she said in a more gentle tone. ¤•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.☆★ ✗ ★☆•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.¤
