25 Quelle in the Reckoning of Lindon 1 Hisime in the King's Reckoning Glorfindel Glorfirith Annun
Glorfirith followed Glorfindel off to the side after Kareswen left for the wedding.
"What is wrong, Glorfindel?"
Glorfindel sighed as a few flowers fell from his hair. He didn't want to upset Glorfirith because of flowers so he tried his best to ignore it.
"I would like to speak with you back at - "
"Laegchen! Look out!"
Glorfirith had interrupted poor Glorfindel yet again. He looked up and watched Glorfirith's odd bookworm friend walk straight into a tree. Glorfindel sighed, walked over to Laegchen and pulled him to his feet. He then picked up the book that had been blocking the elf's view of the tree and handed it over.
"Laegchen, watch where you are going for a change, you would surprise us all. Now, if you will excuse Glorfirith and I..." Glorfindel sighed as Glorfirith had already started talking to Laegchen.
Ai, Elbereth. Give me strength.

25 Quelle in the Reckoning of Lindon 1 Hisime in the King's Reckoning Laegchen Perfheryn Glorfirith Annun, Glorfindel
Laegchen had some trouble trying to keep up with Glorfirith, who was talking animatedly about everything and nothing. Her endless chatter seemed to be slowing grating away at Glorfindel's nerves, or so Laegchen assumed by the pulsing muscle in Glorfindel's jaw.
"Are you going to be attending the wedding? If you are, you might want to, er, straighten yourself out a bit..."
Perplexed, Laegchen tilted his head at Glorfirith.
"Wedding?"
"Yes, Lady Nolah's and Morthol's wedding." Glorfirith babbled on about the celebration that was going to take place later that evening for awhile. Laegchen did not say much, it was almost impossible to get a word in edgewise when it came to Glorfirith. "Oh! Laegchen, you've gone cross-eyed again, dear."
"I've noticed," Laegchen chuckled, rubbing his eyes. "I believe it is your fast talking that has me going in circles."
Glorfirith made a face at him, jabbing her index finger in the middle of his forehead. "You're a lost cause, you know this?"
Their shorter conversations were generally always the same. Glorfirith would pull his book out of his hands and begin speaking of some important event that he had completely forgotten about. He would then go cross-eyed trying to pick up his scattered thoughts and she would tease him about being a lost cause. It was a routine that was played out so often that he became extremely worried when Glorfirith began speaking of more serious subjects.
"Yes, well..." he had read hundreds, even thousands of books, yet he still could not come up with an adequate retort.
"Glorfirith, I really would like to speak with you...preferably before the morning comes..." Glorfindel suddenly said, his voice voice filled with irritation. He absent-mindedly picked a flower petal from his hair, staring intently at Glorfirith.
This is getting awkward... Laegchen thought, and tried unsuccessfully to think of a tactful way to excuse himself.

25 Quelle in the Reckoning of Lindon 1 Hisime in the King's Reckoning Glorfindel Glorfirith Annun
"Glorfindel, you should not be so rude as to interrupt - "
"Glorfirith." Glorfindel eyes flashed slightly and Glorfirith remembered that he wanted to speak with her.
"Oh. Goheno nin, Glorfindel," Glorfirith said and looked at her feet. She then turned to Laegchen who was standing and looking uncomfortable. "You should head down to the wedding but I would recommend watching where you are going or you will hit all the pillars going through the marketplace." She closed the book he was holding and turned him in the other direction and gave him a slight push.
Glorfindel took Glorfirith's hand after saying farewell to Laegchen and led her off towards the manor.
((Goheno nin = forgive me... no sense confusing people))
