'ok first off.. the pirate. love the hat!! that texture is really amazing. the white part looks really soft. is it suppose to? if so great job, if not try to sharpen the edges a little.. the black needs a little more highlights to give is some more depth. other than that it looks awesome!!

very cool idea for the items. it'd be interesting to see them in the other positions gaia has.especially the cross.
as far as critique goes with the cross make at least one point shiny so you can tell it's made of metal. and the stakes need a little more shading on the bottom side. the but the basic shape is awesome.

it's like that in every art dimension. that's just the way people are... or all they said "ah that's cute!" or "that's so cool! how'd you do that?!?" as for me i like to give an actual critique pointing out the pieces i like and the parts that need some work yet. so far i haven't had enough time to do that proparely. so i'll take the next post to do that... hopefully.

well first off i really like the use of alternative medias. it's always nice to see different genres melding. at least i think so.i think that you did a good job of blending them all into one picture. it doesn't look like you just pasted something on there (although i know you did) it looks like one picture.
the coloring and inking style is consistant to how i've always seen you draw. (that's good) i think the only part that bothers me is it's difficult to tell if he has different colored hair or if the highlighting shifts in color. oh plus i would add just a little bit of shading on top of the ribbon (string) too not just below. but not a lot. any questions?
