The one thing about having blue fur is that it makes it impossible to hide! As Rutendo keeps experiencing everytime he tries to hide from one of his siblings or another animal he's gotten in trouble with. Today it was a bird's nest, he didn't even touch it and this bird was now pecking at him as if he was running around with one of it's eggs in his mouth!
Rutendo ran through the forest as fast as he could, trying anything from ducking under logs to jumping in large bushes to lose the bird until finally he fell into a pond. The bird flew around for a bit before finally giving up it's chase and flying back to it's nest, only then did the small blue pup resurface with much needed air. Sadly because of his small body and lack of swimming skills he was now had a new problem. Trying to stay afloat long enough to get to shore.
Small yelps and whimpers escaped him as his small legs moved helplessly under the water for any part of land that would get him out of the water.(( would like to have only two people join ))

 Subira.. was the type of sister that didn't give a hoot about the world that everyone around her saw. No. She was more interested in the world of spirits.. rituals. Guardians.. Gods. She thought of many things.. but always had a blank mind.. Free of troubles and mindless things that her siblings would throw at her. She had been laying out- across a rock.. for some time now.. Listening closely to the spirits of the earth... But just then. She heard a big splash... now. She was rather annoyed.. but she let it ease.. as her eyes slitted open with a very emotionless face. Great. It was a sibling.. at least it wasn't Imamu. She watched him struggling... he was like mother in some ways. That look on her face every time she touched water.. But aunty Banafrit and her children knew how to swim so well.. and she heard of many other siblings did as well. She squinted her eyes and sighed.. "Shallow water." Her face didn't change.. Her tail flicking like a cheshire's.

Rutendo struggled some more in the water until he heard Subira say it was shallow water. What did she mean it was shallow water?! If it was shallow he wouldn't be here struggling to stay a float! For that matter why was she just sitting there?! Good for nothing...
Suddenly his feet touched the ground and he found himself standing up with the water coming up to his belly. "....Oh..." Rutendo blushed in embarrassment as he climbed out of the water and went over to Subira.
"What are you doing here?" he asked still a little embarrassed so the question came out in a growl without him really noticing.

He.. was bothersome now. He was talking and preventing her from hearing earth speak to her.. She laid her ears back.. and looked at him with a very.. nonchalant expression. "Listening." She told her brother. They were dragons whom bared the mark of the skull... Most of the ones from her father's side.. Did this. He was also hiding that Nanu had become one and was not already one. Then she felt it. The ground moving... Her body started to tense..And as if she'd acusually hide from it.. No!
"BRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHEEEEEEERRRRRRR!" She ran with all her might and jumped up behind him. Instantly curling her paws around his neck and pulling herself well above his head. "You told me you'd get me some shines! Then you go running off! What gives!" She growled playful, of course she wasn't mad.. but she nipped his ear and tossed her face around full with his ear.
Subira looked- she didn't have enough time! Damn! She slowly itched away, since Imamu was .. with Ru now right? She didn't need her- she slowly tried to move away, knowing if she ran.. Imamu would follow.. Hopefully she didn't see her..
Looking up from her place, she saw the black butt. A VERY familiar BUTT.... "SUBIRA!"
Subira's fur crawled on all ends.. DAMN her brother! Bring her here.. Damnit.. Now she knew she couldn't get away.. she slowly turned her head.. Still in a careless attitude. The opposite side of twins..

Oh no... dear lord no! Rutendo slowly turned his head around just in time to see a white fluff jump in the air and drop onto him. He tried to get away but she had wrapped her paws around him and had him by the ear. "Ack! Imamu! Leave me alone! Rutendo growled.
When Imamu's attention turned toward her twin Subira, Rutendo was beyond grateful. Maybe he could get away while Imamu was busy... but then not even the quiet Subira could escape. He didn't stand a chance! But he had to try!
Rutendo started to slip out from under his sister, which required work since she was holding him so tight, but he couldn't get out. "Darn it! Let me go!"

Imamu snuggled up and then pulled on his ear. "If you ppprrrooommiiiiseeee to get my shinies I will~" She cuued in to his ear and growled right after. "You ran away and thats not faiiir!" Puffing up her cheeks.
Her twin slowly turned around.. and walked back towards the two. VERY eye roll~ and in an annoyed way. Slowly coming up to them and plopping her butt down. Staring at her brother, eyes half lidded and unamused. "You brought her here. Yet so pathetic in that position.. "
Her eyes looked up at her sister.. "Subira! I was looking for you~ I thought you left me!"
Eye roll yet again. "Yes Imamu. You know~ we need space too."
"Nauh uh! We're twins! We're suppose to be together forever!!!" She smiled brightly.. then looked down at her brother as she snuggled him then jumped off to nuzzle against her sister.. turning to her brother with blank eyes.. "Shinies." She stated. "We need to be good dragons~ and I can't get better til I get enough shinies. Won't you help~~~"
"Oh ~ sister -.-;.."

Rutendo grumbled something under his breath as he got up then shook out his fur. "Why should I help you find shiny things?" He asked with a huffy tone as he plopped his butt on the ground.
As it was, he was still annoyed that his privacy been interrupted as it had. He hated being jumped by his siblings yet they seemed to take that as do it anyway.

Her tail wagged with utmost joy.. preening... with affection towards her sister until she looked at him. "Because. Your a boy." She corrected him. "And if I can't be a good dragon~ it'd also be a shame to you if I can't get to be a good dragon." Shifting her shoulders. "Then you won't be able to find a guuuurrrllllfrrriiieeennnddd~~~ if our family is shamed. Yup yup." Nodding.
Subira's arm curled around her sister in a very creepy way.. too close for siblings and softly licked her face. "And a shame to our family~ the spirits would be displeased brother~~~" Looking at him as though looking through his VERY soul... subira had something different. Something off about her and many of the others thought the same. Even their mother but tried to mask that as much as possible.
"We can even go on an adventure to find them! How about that!?" Head popped out of subira's arms and looked at him with a glee she couldn't much hide.

Rutendo shuddered. It was bad enough being lectured of shaming the family... Subira's penetrating stare only made it all the more uncomfortable. With a deep sigh he got back up and stared at his two sisters.
"Alright... how do we start this little adventure?" He asked grumpily.

"Well we could ~ we could we could!" .... Imamu was ..stomped on ideas. "....I dunno where." Shrugging as she looked up at Subira. "... Where do dragons get their shinies..?" Looking almost in astonishement.
Subira put a paw against her face and slowly dragged the skin down.. "You have started right?~ At least?" Looking down at Imamu then to her brother. "Oh- spirits...." Sighing. "The tallest mountains.. and in the deepest lakes.. may a dragon find its treasure.." Saying softly.. almost eerie like.
"Woah...." Hanging upon every word that her sister said... jumping out of her arms and upon on all fours and wagging her tail excitedly. "We can do that! Right!" A smile from one ear to the next.

Rutendo stared at his sisters as if they'd gone insane. Trekking up a mountain? Going into the deepest parts of a lake?! "You're crazy!" He cried out while shaking his head.
"There is no way you are getting me to do those things! Are you even hearing yourself? How life threatening that is?!" He asked while approaching her until their noses were almost touching.
"We're not doing that and that's final!" With a short huff he moved away and stormed off. How could Subira put that in Imamu's head? He doubted their mother would allow them anyway to do something so crazy!

When he got closer to her.. it sounded like mother IF she could talk. Her eyes went big and almost shocked. "WHERE ARE YOU GOING BROTHER!? SHINIES! DONT YOU WANT TO BE A GOOD DRAGON!?" She whimpered.. her ears going down as she slowly was about to go after him until Subira quickly jumped ahead of her and huffed. "Imamu.. you said you wanted to be a good dragon. He is just a shame to the family, not being one." Then looking over to where her brother left to.. blankly as he was leaving.
"The spirits, let pity shower down.. for he does not know of such greatness and feat." She was.. slightly offended of what he said but it wasn't his fault he was a failure dragon. Sighing. "Let him fall.." Trying to calm down as she slowly rubbed her face against her sister's. Pushing with her nose.. "We don't need to go an adventure with him... you are a strong enough dragon sister." Brushing an ego.. without even realizing it.
Imamu's ears went up as she stared at Subira and her words.. almost entranced with everything about her sister.. Then softly did she lean in.. and lick her maw.. Putting her ears back. "Lets go." Then bouncing away in the opposite direction. "IF YOU WANNA COME~ WE'LL BE BY NEAR THE WATERING HOLE~RURU!" Smiling innocently before trotting off with subira closely behind.

Rutendo stopped and slowly looked over his shoulder with tears glistening in his eyes. He didn't want to be a shame to the family...
The whole thing just sounded too crazy though. Looking off in the distance he debated. Then after a long moment of thinking he sighed and turned back around. Not yet announcing his following presence but just slowly lagging behind his sisters.
He couldn't believe he was getting himself into this. But he would rather die than be a shameful reminder... And if he had to die on this adventure, at least it was out of trying to get honor...
With this thought in mind, he kept following but his ears were pinned back.

His boundful sister trotter her way to the watering hole. Happily just walking down the way.. the path was direct, with slight turns.. she spoke gently. "I heard that.. below the depts of the watering hole.. there is small gash that has a gem in it.. almost like mother's necklace!" She leaned to one side.. then another in a wave like fashion. Her tail following. "Father ...."
Subira's ears propped up.. and she felt the suddenness behind her. He was following.. ears pinned back. "Father.... is different. I am sure he loves us all.. and proud when he sees how strong you will become." Nodding softly.. "And once you've become a prideful dragon.. I don't think he won't have any choice but to smile." Softly she looked to the side.. Saying this towards her brother. "Maybe there is a dragon in you ...too." Before walking and setting foot on the sands that surrounded the watering hole.
"We're here!" Her voice echoed... no one in sight.. she trotted in to the water's slimmer edges. Just to get her feet wet.. "Wow..." A soft smile crossed her face. "It looks so pretty!" Turning to Subira with orbs of excitement plastered across her.
"Well. Aren't you gunna go get it?" Her sister's eyes slitted.. then she leaned back in to a sitting position. Waiting for their brother to catch up as her sister bounded in to the water.. The worse thing that their mother did as a puppy as well. Water.. Little did they know.. little did they know. Their grandparents both were excellent swimmers so the gene should have carried on.. Subira- was blankly watching.. until her sister was fully submerged.. Her tail padded, just like the water did- giving out ripples..
