Yes, it is an art form.
Whether it's from the costume designing, making, or acting as the charachter.
It takes alot of skill, and is brilliant when it all comes together.
I'd love to cosplay one day.. but I'm shite at textiles, and I don't know who I could act as (convincingly).
Discuss your thoughts, opinions, ideas etc.

I cosplay at EirtaKon. I was Lulu ((Final Fantasy X)) my first year, but I bought that costume as it was less than a month before the con. My husband was Squall Leonhart, also bought, and his brother was Dante ((Devil May Cry 3)). Last year I was Chun Li ((Street Fighter)) and Sailor V ((Codename Wa Sailor V/Sailor Moon)). I made both of those costumes and the 2 my husband and his bro wore ((Ken Masters and Ryu from Street Fighter respectively)). I plan on making Ayame, Rikimaru and Tastumaru ((Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven)) and Eternal Sailor Venus ((Sailor Moon)) this year.

Are you talking about the Sailor V-chan costume, Lampoon? My shoes have 4 inche heels on them. I'll be wearing them again as Eternal Sailor Venus with some boot covers on them.
