The sun was just starting to sink towards the horizon, and Dahih was making his way into town, his jaw set at an uneasy and tense angle. He was always so paranoid coming here, not wanting to run into a large number of people that he knew. He never did, but it didn't stop him from getting antsy. He didn't know exactly why he was here, maybe get some shopping done, and have a drink before going back home, and getting some sleep. He'd been feeling antsy all day, and for some reason found himself wandering in the general direction of people. In a change of plan, he moved around a small group of people, and went towards the ale first.

Aislia didn't know why she was in this part of town. Taverns sat to both her sides, happy roars of drunkards filling the silence she would have enjoyed. Arms wrapped tight around her, she kept her eyes to the ground hopeing to be teleported away from this place. Aislia was knocked back and forth; unfriendly shoulders cursing her at every step. The drunken lust of men followed her, screams and whistled asulted her ears. With a new purpose she walked, orbs fixed souly on the ground infront of her.

Dahih smiled as he made his way for a tavern, but paused and frowned when he heard the drunken noises, and turned to investigate. He saw the lady taur and his frown deepened. His feet shuffled in an agitated way, and he trotted towards her. Poor thing, she looked so out of place...he would offer his company until she was somewhere more comfortable. He hated seeing a woman put in such a situation.
"Excuse me, miss?"

Aislia jumped, a small yelp escaping her lungs. She clasped her lips shut, coving her mouth with the back of her hand. "I'm so sorry. I..I didn't mean to, to. You just scared me." Aislia mentally collected herself; she tugged on the ends of her hair with both hands, letting the strands slid through her fingers. This repetative motion calmed her; shoulders curved in to protect herself from the distant yells that had scared her so."Again, I appologize. I dont mean to be in your way.." Slinder hands tightened around the strap of her bag, uncertain eyes searching for the best way out of the den of drunkards.

"Oh! Not at all, ma'am," he said, bowing quickly and awkwardly. It wasn't something he did often, that much was obvious. He took a step back, but smiled widely, "I just couldn't help but notice how umcomfortable you seemed, and was wondering if I could escort you out of this rather crappy area. A lady shouldn't have to deal with men like them...Where are you heading?" He was trying his hardest not to seem like he was a creeper, he just wanted to help.

"Thank you so very much." Ailia bowed her head in return, a coy smile spreading on her lips. She clutched her bad tightly as she made her way out of the madness. She stayed close to the stranger who offered to help her, feeling safer with the added company."Where am I headed?"She repeated the question to herself, unsure what the response would be. For now, all her heart wanted was to leave this stink-hole. Her mind swarmmed for an appropriat answer; to give away too much would put her at risk, to give too little would ensure her failure. "To the next town." Aislia answered herself and her guest very quietly, though she always kept her voice to a small whisper.

"The next town..." he sounded curious, but didn't ask. But he nodded, and smiled, falling into step beside her. It was none of his business, "Well, dear, I'll walk with you for as far as you need me too." He offered his hand, ear flicking, and smile fixed firmly in place on his face, "My name is Dahih, by the way. You are?" It was a good thing he really had nothing to do, no place to be, so he could spend as much time as he needed to making sure she got safely to where she needed to be.

Aislia smiled shyly, twisting her hands around her bag strap. Finally extending her own hand to his, she clasped it quickly letting go almost immidatly."A..Aislia. My name is Aislia." She couldn't help but trip over her own name. She was so glad to have someone to walk with her; being alone on the road had made her weary. The lonely walks and quiet evenings had her starved for company. "Again, thank you so much. You don't know what this means to me..It gets so lonely out here."

"Aislia. Its great to meet you," he said, smiling widely. It failed slightly at what she said, and his expression turned concerned, but changed back quickly, "No need to thank me, I'm more than happy to walk as far as you need me to. A lady should never have to walk alone if she doesn't want to. And I understand what you mean by it being lonely," he said, chuckling lightly, "Even I feel it sometimes, so I don't walk to far very often." That and he was a lazy man, for the most part, but she didn't need to know that.

Aislia smiled."If I had a choice, I would rather had stayed home." Her eyes scanned the city limits, the crouds dispersing and thinning."I hate the city really. But I guess I must endure it." She sighed, quickly gaining a heroic pose for her last statement. Aislia truely hated the city, the crowds, yelling, smells and other characteristics of city life made her sick. But she knew this was the type of place he would be. He never liked to be stuck in one place for very long; he had to be traveling, one with the masses. Aislia prefered to be sitting out by herself, away from the masses.

Dahih laughed, nodded, "Yeah, we just gotta endure. Its not so bad, as long as you don't let it get to you. The smell is a little hard to ignore though," he said, chuckling and crossing his arms. He was silent for a moment, and finally caved to his curiousity, "Its none of my business, and you can say so, but, if its not to forward, might I ask whats taking you to the next town?"

Aislia studied, her eyes scanning his features for any hint of distrust. "I'm looking for someone." She had found no hint that he would go against her, that he would use the information against her. And really how could he use it against her? Aislia didnt wait for him to prompt her futher, "I haven't seen my brother in years; he left when we were still very young. I started looking for him a few days ago, and sadly I dont think he would stay very close to home." She stared at the ground they walked on, letting her small bit of information settle. A small giggle burst from her lungs, a uncharacteristic smile spreading across her face. "He always hated staying in one place for long. He wouldn't even sleep in the same spot for more than one night. One time he kicked me out of my bed because he had slept in ever other spot."

Dahih listened to her, frowning in a curious way. When she giggled, he smiled, ears flicking slightly, "Well, your brother sounds like an...interesting guy," he said, laughing lightly, "I hope you find him." In all honesty, the situation sounded almost like what it was for him and his own sister. He had left home, then after a couple of years, she'd come to find him. He'd been very flighty too, at the time. "If you're lucky, he'll stay somewhere just long enough for you to get there."

Aislia smiled sadly."I dont know, I can hope though." Her smile widened, eyes sparkling with a strange happiness that seemed to radiate from inside."Thanks for listening to my sap story. I don't usually cry to everyone I meet. I just feel like I can trust you. Besides, you deserve to know why you are escorting me to the next town." A faint blush rushed to her cheeks at the end of her babbling. The sounds of the city were left far behind, the simple lovely sounds of nature replacing the screams of sellsmen."Its so pretty out here." Aislia took a deep breath of the sented air. She was use to the dampness of caves and the smells of night. A thought crept into the back of her mind. Was this why her brother left?

Dahih just smiled and nodded, "Not a problem at all, ma'am. I know that sometimes its just nice to talk to somebody about things, even if we think that they're not worth talking about." He straightened up rather proudly when she said she trusted him, looking very pleased. That was definately a self-esteem booster. He blinked, and looked around. He hadn't noticed how far from town they'd gotten. "Yeah. Its gorgeous out today."
