Physical Description: Although Kellar's kind nature is plain in his gentle brown eyes and warm smile, one could easily be convinced otherwise by his fairly muscular appearance. Since he usually wears a plain tunic, his strong arms are very much visable due to the short sleeves. His white leggings also do a poor job at concealing his strong limbs. His fairly long brown hair stops at his back.
Personality: Kellar is usually a very kind and caring young man who does his best to respect everyone else. He doesn't like to get involved in arguments and doesn't like getting on peoples' bad sides, but doesn't mean that he will refuse. He just doesn't like confrontations all too much. When faced with one, he'll try to back down and maybe let someone else handle it. If there is no other option he'll do his best to overcome. He rarely loses his temper, and when he does it's usually because someone has either insulted someone close to him one too many times, or because someone's acting very ignorant.
spacelolThat's when he snaps and one of the only times he'll ever try to put someone in their place. His reactions are usually done on impulse, when he's mad, and will vary from brief, sharp remarks to raising his voice. If he's had enough, he will shout, stomp off, and try and find a quiet place to sulk. However, if he's challenged even further while he tries to stomp off, he will most likely come back with tempers flairing, and begin to continue yelling.
spacelolWhen upset, he usually tries to seclude himself, prefering to be alone when sad. He usually just thinks to himself since he doesn't like to talk out loud when sad or upset. Being a "man", he doesn't like to show his tears, though it's rare he cries. Usually it takes a death or something really bad to upset him enough to the point of tears. If he can't find a place to escape to, he'll look down and try to hide his face with his hair. (aw...) Sometimes he will use his emotions and turn them into pictures, which is always a positive way to deal with one's emotions.
spacelolThough he wishes he could take charge, he's not quite confident enough to be a leader. Because he's willing to cooperate with people, he works great with other people, so long as they aren't being unreasonable. Even if they are doing something he doesn't like, he'll most likely keep quiet about it unless he's motivated enough to speak up.
History: Kellar is the son of a Harper and a Healer and was born in a minor Hold. His father encouraged him to become involved in artistic activities, hoping he would want to be a Harper, while his mother encouraged him to go into healing, and even managed to teach him. Niether expected him to be interested in dragons. He has always looked up to the riders and their dragons with the highest respect. In hopes of getting to meet the riders and get close to a dragon, he became interested in becoming a Dragonhealer. Though he would be perfectly content with a firelizard, his biggest dream is to one day Impress a dragon. His parents were supportive of him, though his mother was reluctant when he was found on Search, which was when he was 17 turns old. She was worried that he would be hurt by one of the dragons, and all the other things a mother would worry about. After a lot of begging and convincing, Kellar was allowed to go.
Pets: None, but is hoping for a firelizard some day.
Other/Talents: Kellar loves to sketch dragons, and has done so since he was little. He keeps a secret sketchbook filled with multiple sketches of dragons. Though he's no expert, he's not too bad and hopes to learn how to acurately portray the magesty of dragons once he gets a closer look. He never shows anyone his sketches because he's worried people would just tell him it's a waste and he doesn't want that kind of discouragement. He can draw other things, but favorites dragons. He hopes to one day move on to learning how to paint, but doubts he'll have the time. (and unlike me, he has a realistic-ish style)
