The Discworld: A flat planet resting on the backs of four elephants who stand upon the back of the giant space turtle Great A'Tuin. Living upon the Disc are some of the most memorable characters I've ever run across. There is anthropomorphic personification of Death, who has an curious obcession with humanity and ALWAYS TALKS IN CAPS. And Death has an adopted grandaugther.
I haven't read them all but I've enjoyed all the books I've read so far. So I wanted to start a discussion on the Discworld series and the many colorful characters in its pages.
