A brown colored lioness was making her way trough the rouge lands and her genet companion was not far away from her either. Pona belonged to the pride lands but recently she had left her home to see if she could find some leads about her lost family that she lost as a cub. It was long ago now but maybe if she was lucky she could find the truth about what happend to them..

Pona sat down close to a tree to rest a little bit and to take a look over the rouge lands on where she was. And Nawari wasn't very far after her.

" Maybe we should rest for a while? it's getting late.. "

The female genet jumped up on Pona's back and curled up there to get some rest herself. They had been traveling all day and they sure could need some sleep..

Pona nodded yes that was a good idea indeed so they would stay here a little while and then continue there way to find Pona's past. She had no idea what would happen on the road or who she would meet she just hoped that she could find out something about her past..

Tarik wore his mortal guise yet again as he made his way along the Savannah. He'd gotten used to it now, actually, since he'd been mingling with mortals more often now than ever before. Now that he thought about it, they weren't as horrible as his memories made them out to be.

It was, at that point, that he happened to catch sight of a female resting nearby a tree. Being tired would've been a good enough excuse to make his way over, since he was more a fan of resting in the shade anyway, so he went.

"Mind if I take rest over on this side?" he asked when he got close enough. He was several feet away, though it was still shaded area.

Pona didn't even notice that someone was comming. The female was not that tired but hadn't even heard someone until there was a male lion just infront of her. The sand coated femaled blinked a few times to make sure she wasn't imagining things.

She didn't mind some company but the sudden apparence of the other lion left her a little surprised. But Pona didn't want to be rude...she actually tought it was nice meeting new creatures something diffrent for a change.

" No i don't mind...but an introduction would be nice "

The female smiled and flicked her tail a little...was this male thinging the same thing that she did? resting under some shade wasn't that wierd at all that is what all creatures was doing out here when it got to hot.

" My name is Pona and my sleeping friend here is Nawari "

She nodded towards Nawari who had climbed up in the tree instead she liked sleeping in trees it was a habit of hers..

Nawari liked her new friend very much but she tought she would leave her lion friend for a while and get a moment for herself but not to far of course she didn't want to loose sight of her.

So the yellow genet had found a nice sleeping spot up in the tree. It was nice and cool and nothing could bother her as soon she started to float of in a nice dream.

"Thanks," he said, then proceeded to get comfortable. As the male settled in the spot he'd pointed out when asking for her permission, he offered a sort of smile to the other. "I'm Tarik, it's nice to meet you both." He'd gotten a lot better at communicating with the mortals, though it was a rare enough occasion that he encountered them, so he wasn't being overwhelmed. That, of course, doesn't mean that he'd changed his opinion of them entirely. However, they really weren't as bad as he originally thought.

"Sorry if I seemed a bit rude earlier," he started, glancing back the way he came. "I was just anxious to rest. It feels like I've been walking for days; I'm sure you're familiar with the feeling, no?" At that he glanced back at the lioness, then up at the sleeping creature in the trees. He'd never seen one of these before, but he forced back a curious look before turning his attention to Pona once more.

Pona nodded as a you are welcome nod as the male got comfortable close to her. This was a little bit amusing she tought meeting another lion out here. But meeting single male lions wasn't that rare most young single males without a mate or a pack usually walked alone like this..

" So i guess you don't have a pack of your own? i am sorry if i sound rude but the only males i know are in my pack "

Pona had been walking a lot latley as well so she knew the feeling. It was a long time ago now since she walked this far. She hadn't been doing that since she was a cub and an adolescent.

" Yes i know the feeling...i am looking for some answers that is why i have to travel this far from my home "

She said and gave the male a smile..

Tarik nodded at her question, confirming that he was indeed alone. It'd always been that way, and he long since accepted it. In frustration, at first, but after a time it became more of a dull disinterest. And then after even more time he stopped caring altogether. Belonging - he didn't need it, and especially not with mortals. He was born a wanderer, and he figured he'd stay that was until his dying breath. Not that the god was planning on saying any of this to his new found company - a mortal lioness, and a pretty one at that.

"Right," he said, having been listening to her explanation as to why she'd been out on her own. Tarik never actually asked, but it sort of went along with the reply to the question he posed only moment ago. "Though I don't think I'm looking for an answer of any sort, but I've run into others who search these roguelands for such things."

It wasn't a concept he really understood, though. Going on a journey to look for answers.. another idea that was foreign to the deity. While traveling he found that there were lots of these, so it was more of a learning experience for him rather than a search type of thing. Clearing his throat after a particularly drawn out silence, Tarik continued their conversation.

"So what sorts of answers are you looking for?"

So this guy was a wanderer...it wasn't odd at all very normal for a young male. Tough she was happy her son had a permanent home and didn't have to walk around like this. But on the other hand Purnoma was very shy and liked sticking to one place rather then just walk around in a place he didn't know...

" Well i guess everyone have diffrent things they search for and others just simply travel...i am the answer seeker~~ "

She giggeld lightly and moved some hair from her face with a light blow from her lips..

" You see as a cub i was abbandoned by my family or well that is what i am not so sure at...and i would like an answer to see if that is what really happend...but it might be hard it happend long ago now "

She might never find the answer but she stil hoped she would find out what happend with her family.

He gave a nod at her reply, forming an 'o' shape with his mouth at the same time. So she was looking for family.. or answers concerning her family. Another thing that he couldn't relate too. For as long as he'd been alone Tarik could never remember ever wanting to know more about his birth parents. They could've died and rebirthed and he couldn't have cared less. They didn't matter to him - they never had. And that in it of itself was probably a good thing. To him, anyway.

"I can't seem to relate to any of your experiences," he said with a bit of a laugh. "Though I think that's normal for one such as myself." Tarik then gave a shrug. "I've never wanted to meet my birth parents, you see."

Pona couldn't understand how someone didn't want to meet with your own parents. Your parents was the ones that had created you not always raised you and not all cubs came from good families. But still that was the reason they all excisted right?

" Hmm...i think parents are important even if they are not always there to take care of you since that happend to me i would never leave my babies "

No matter what happend Pona would always raise her offsprings no matter what happend. Atleast if they had one parent that could teach them about life they would be fine.

" So where do you come from? "

She wanted to ask him something else she didn't know this guy but she felt that she wanted to get to know him better..

Tarik gave a shrug, not really wanting to bring up his parents anymore. He didn't know who they were, where they were, or why the left him behind - he didn't have to know at this point, nor did he want to know. So, as far as he was concerned, it didn't matter to him. But then everyone was entitled to their own opinions, so he cleared his throat and let the subject die in the silence that had fallen between them for a moment.

The god then quirked his brow at her question, not entirely sure how to answer it. Of course he couldn't tell her the truth.. "Northern lands," he replied with a curious smile, shirking around the truth, but certainly not lying. "Making me new around to this area, I guess. What about you?

They where both very diffrent with diffrent backgrounds but that didn't meen they didn't have to get along. Pona was just happy to speak with another lion. She flicked her tail and looked at the male with her golden brown eyes...this guy was indeed a little bit mysterious well that was just a feeling she had.

" I was born as a rouge but now my home is in the pridelands. A very nice place i must say "

She liked her home and had no intention of leaving it maybe if she found her lost family but it would still be difficult.

" Did to see a small family of lions that are brown colored and with a majority of females on your way around here? "

It was worth to ask right?
PostPosted: Fri Apr 24, 2009 3:59 pm

Tarik gave a nod, not really caring for any 'nice places' at the moment, much preferring amusement over peace and quiet. For now, anyway. He didn't really say anything though, just nodded when she spoke of her current home. He wouldn't be heading in that direction, if that were the case. "I see," he said once she'd finished talking. What else could he really say?

Then her question came, and after thinking on it for a bit he shook his head. "Sorry, I haven't," came his reply. "I've only ever seen lone travelers, never in packs or groups or anything."

Pona was just glad that he listend to her he didn't need to answer anything if he didn't want to. But when she heard that he hadn't been seeing any family group or small herd something inside of her felt heavier and she knew that it was almost impossible to find an answer to her question. But she didn't want to stop yet she needed to give it atleast one more try before she turned back to her home..

" Well it's ok i guess i have to keep trying for a little while longer "

Pona ment "survive" and she will survive no matter what happend. Well atleast she had asked one lion there where more lions and creatures to ask out there. Maybe one of them would know the answer..

Well adventures where suppose to be fun right? and she didn't want to do this trip just to get bad answers all the time there was other things she could do like getting some company~~ then the female got a gentle smirk over her lips as she watched the male.

" So did you meet any ladies latley? "
PostPosted: Mon Apr 27, 2009 10:15 pm

After she'd replied to his answer there was a strange sort of silence that'd come between them again. Strange in that it was comfortable, actually, and it had a very calming affect on the deity. The lioness broke it with a question that Tarik hadn't expected, though it amused him slightly. He offered Pona a smile when she finished asking. "I did," he replied, shrugging lightly. "Those run-ins were particularly fun in their own way."

Being male, he couldn't help but smile. "Why do you ask?"

Pona wasn't shy she simply asked and did what she felt like or else she would probably had been dead by now. She flicked her tail and listend to the young male..

" Nothing special really...i was just curious on how a life could be for a male~~ "

She laughed lightly and tought the question might had been a little to much for him but he seemed alright. He probably knew by now that women wasn't all that pure all the time. Pona tought it was actually nice with some male company she hadn't been meeting with any guys latley at all. Just hunting and being with her family in her homelands.

" We women are a little bit strange sometimes~~ asking silly questions "
