 Kurage made her way down the dark, stormy shores slowly, golden eyes narrowed and alert, on edge from the weather, and the worry of retaliation for any close to the male she had attacked just early.
How could she not worry when he had sworn to hunt her down and try to take her children?
She would not allow it! They were her future subjects, and they would remain loyal at her side, always!
A vicious growl escaped her maw, claws sinking down into the soft, wet sands as she stopped, quickly dropping into a crouch. Her eyes had met a dark form, slowly approaching her in the distance. It could be just another traveler. I could be HIM, It could be the rogue, and someone associated with them. Far too many possibilites, and she would not relax her stance towards the possible threat.
Slowly, she crept to the side, keeping low, and trying to remain un-noticed, edging down into the shallow water to hide her light-furred form in the dark, murky sea. The discomfort would be more than worth the protection and preemptive the sea would allow her.

 Mizu walked along the beach not seeming to have to much on her mind her eyes her locked on to her paws placing one before the other. She had been run out of her cousin's den. Over some foolish little fight. She could even remember what it was now but did that matter?
She stopped suddenly the faint scent of another drifted to her nose. She scanned around as she went on the defensive leaned down on her hunches a little a growl starting to erupt from her throat before let out a roar scaring the little creatures around her out of hiding.
"Where are you!" She beckoned out. "I can feel yours eyes on me I am in no mood to be played with if you wish to come forth and show your self it saves me the task of finding you!" She yelled out her threat laid clear before the other as her claws peeked from her paws her fur stood up on end as he tail moved in a slight circular motion as she began shifting her weight from side to side getting ready to run in either direction.
"Well!!" She yelled out coldly to the other.

Slowly, only a few feet ahead of her, the stunning white lioness moved from the shallows of the water, head held high, and eyes narrowed. Her ears were perked from the sound of the other strong females roar, and somehow, the water dripping from her pelt made her appear more menacing, like a fierce beast creeping up from unknown depths. She stood there, firm, and unwavering, staring the other female down.
" Hiding is no game. " Her voice came out in a soft, elegant purr. " It is a powerful art of deception and should not be so looked down upon. "
Her tail lashed out strongly behind her, flinging the water from it with ease as she moved to walk gracefully closer to the, holding herself like the princess, and now queen, that she had always believed herself to be. Trying to put everything together... Her stare, her grace, her confidence, her posture, and her voice, combining it all in an attempt to command the attention show dominance, just as Gannon had taught her.
In truth... It was her first attempt at this, though she had spent many days in practice with the shady male. He had used it against her, and assured her that she, too, had the skill to use it... The power to become a leader, and Queen.
" You wished to be in my presence, lioness? " She asked in that same elegant tone once she stood before the younger female.

blue eye blinked as they locked onto the white, yellow and red face. She watched closely hearing the lioness's speak she was over come with a odd feeling was it fear? She thought for a moment her ear flattened against her head as she poster moved lower. She was a just a bit larger then the half-firekin female. She now stood before her her eyes averting the female as she tried to find her voice.
The female then slowly looked to meet her eyes curious about the female that seemed to be ruling her so easily. her tail relaxed between her legs as she gulped down hard.
"I only meant I like to take things head on hide nothing bring all that you have with you..." She said in a soft voice as she shook a little she hated this what the hell was going on! She was strong right? She was Mizu'nagara! One of the remaining few water tribe lioness's. She closed her eyes tightly as she began to recovers her poster raising as she opened her eyes looking to the female.
"What if I do?" She said finally answering the females question.

Her head cocked to the side slightly as the other spoke, watching in fascination at the sudden, obvious signs of submission. It was remarkable, just as Gannon had promised her.
Resisting a smirk, Kurage shifted to sit easily in the sand, keeping her head held up. " Hmmm. A attitude worth comment. I rarely meet a creature who would prefer to face something upfront. It's... refreshing. " She purred out easily.
" I did not mean to startle you. " It was, perhaps, the closest one would ever come to receiving an 'apology' from her these days. " One can not fault caution, don't you agree? "
Offering the female a slight smirk, she swept a paw up in a small 'greeting' gesture. " I am called Kurage Sarai. Tell me, my dear, what your name is. " It was not a question, the firm tone definitely pushing it to be an order. She was curious about this female, and really, her mind was quickly working ahead to the many possibilities this could offer. A new ally, her first subject, if all went well.

"Mizu'nagara..." She said as her eyes and ears seem to scream out submission as she took a step back her but hitting the rock behind her forcing her to fall into a sit.
"An I do agree. If one needed to hide for reasons to take in their opponent yes. Or if one needed to hide while stealing something from its prey say like a meal they stole from another carnivore." She said as she didn't meet the other eyes to nervous to see something she didn't want to see or show something she did not want the other lioness to see.
"I'm glad you enjoy me..." She replied softly. "It not often I find anyone that will let alone look at me. Either it is my size, my pelt, or something else I do not understand." She said as she took a deep breath before relaxing some more moving slightly to rest her lower back against the cool rock. Yes that felt good she had been running a long distance away from her cousin seeking a new home.
"You are...not lost are you?" She asked the other female opening her eyes to gaze upon her.

" Hmm... Mizu'nagara. Lost? No, not at all. I wander. I search. I am looking for strong young females. Females like yourself. " She said, slowly moving up in front of the other, reaching a paw up to take her chin, claws pressing lighting as she forced the other female to look at her. " Let me tell you of my belief, my dear Mizu. "
Kurage kept her hold, giving the other no option of looking away. " The males of our world are no better than dogs... They are barbaric, foolish, reckless beasts. While necessary, and pleasant, they are slowly leading us to ruin. " She shook her head sadly, slowly letting do now that she had the others full attention, sitting once more.
" They need females like us. They need females to take charge, and put them into their rightful place, where they may live the life they were meant to, and secretly desire. Males are meant to be below us. They are are to remain home, and care for the land as the females hunt. They are to look after the children as we fight... They are to answer to us unquestioningly, and be forever grateful for the life we've granted them. "
Standing, she moved to step past the other, padding away a few paces, before looking back over her shoulder. " You are strong... If you do not wish them to weaken you, then follow me. We shall make a home worth living in. "

The female eyes widened it was as if the other was reading her views and thoughts on the subject's she was commenting on. She watched her closely her eyes turning from a submissive gaze to one of adoration and fellowship.
She nodded a little but only when her face was let go. "I will follow you." She said as she began to follow the female though she didn't stand beside her now she walked slightly behind as if a rear guard.
"I do not wish to be at the will of males." She said sternly with a small growl of despise. "I want to be strong to be a female that fears no male." She continued. "I want to be a female that other will look up to and strive to be." She said with a small smile as she nodded.
"Yes I shall be that walk beside you to fulfill our dream." She commented boldly as she began to walk proud and strong her shoulder held high her ears alert and her eyes scanning around her. She would not let the female before her fall no she would lift her up with all she had and more.

A slight smile came across her maw at the words, quite proud of her obvious recruiting abilities. Already the other female was following her lead, and keeping her eye out for danger. It would not be long before she had he full loyalty. She was sure of that.
Pressing onward, she began to move away from the beach, heading further in-land. They needed more members. Even just a few more, and they could really flourish as a pride. Especially with the help of the little ones inside of her. " Yes... Our dreams will soon be a very wonderful reality. I will very soon require your help. "
In truth, she was rather relieved. To go through child birth, all alone, for the first time. The thought was not a pleasant one. There were too many chances for something to go wrong in that way. " My cubs... The future of our pride... I feel they will be born soon. When the time comes, you will aid me with them. "
Her tail twitched in agitation, looking up toward the sky. " I can feel it.. The gods will bless them. We need only await their arrival. Soon, we will have our new home. "
She believed this fully. Gannon had told her so, after all. While she could not trust the male, he had been more than helpful. He was giving her land, power, and all she could want, with very few strings attached. She had no choice but to take it, and accept what ever the future held for those she would be leading.

The female looked to her face before seeing that yes the female had a large belly full of cubs. She closed her eyes thinking of her cousin only a moment before view the female belly once more. The female then took a deep breath.
"I shall be there for you. My cousin had a litter. I helped her..." She admitted before becoming silent. She then moved closer to the female as he ears began to listen.
"When was the last time you ate?" She asked as she looked ahead of her ready to go get the female something she wasn't about to let her go hungry.
She would make her strong and keep her strong now that she was a leader and a mother. She needed her strength to lead and mother though she had a good suspicion that the female would not raise the cubs. She took another breath before closing her eyes tightly cubs needed to be looked after.
"Do you have someone to care for them?" She asked as she looked to the other with curious slightly concerned eyes.

" Hmm, I last ate the other morning, I believe. " She said thoughtfully, stopping in her tracks when she was asked who would be caring for them. Her eyes narrowed as she looked back to the other female, quick to pick up on her thoughts. " Do not assume I would so easily leave the future of our pride with no care. I will be attending to their needs until I can find someone more suitable, and even then, I will be teaching them our ways. " She growled out, tail lashing out behind her as she stared the larger girl down.
How dare she even think Kurage would would leave the children without care!?
It was an truly an insult. She may not plan to be mother of the year, but these cubs were of her royal blood. They were of the Firekin blood of her father. They would would grow healthy and powerful, she would make SURE of that.

Mina let out a growl of irritation as she stared the female down as she moved to walk beside her. "You miss understood me!" She yelled at the female moving in front of her before turning to face her standing her ground.
"I simple asked if you needed help but with your attitude it seems you know what you are doing!" She yelled at her glaring. "Children are not to take lightly they re fragile yet strong. Their cry is heart wrenching and if they are not feed regularly they can get sick if you leave them in the heat to long they can dehydrate but if you think you can do this all on you own then please Mistress do as you please." She said with a devilish smirk. She possible was going to far but this other female needed to know what she had gotten herself into.
"Then once they can talk you can't get them to shut up let alone when they hit the rambunctious cub stage always wanting to play." She said with a small evil laugh throwing her head back a bit.
"We shall see who wins Kurage you or your children." She said before turning her back onto the female moving off. "I will not hunt for you know. Miss I think I can do it." She said coldly.

She growled out in return, quickly becoming more upset by the others harsh words toward her. " Do not think I could not tell your thoughts! I could see it in your eyes that you believed I would carelessly leave them for my own needs!!! " She snarled out. " You've no right to try to lecture me!!! I more than you know the pain of crying out without being answered as nothing more than a cub!!! I am familiar with the aching pain of hunger, and the unbearable heat as you desperately search for shade! "
Growling, she viciously slashed into the grass under her paws. " And I also know the pain of claws slashing through skin as the one who 'cares' for you gets too bothered to restrain themselves!!! "
Turning away, she began to stalk away from the other, moving for a small, shady copse of trees where she could lay down and relax herself. The stress and pain had suddenly hit her all at once after being set off by the other.
She had spoken far too much... What was she thinking...? She had just become so angry when she had believed the other to be implying she would dare let any harm befall her children. " I will never allow myself to lose another child... Never dare imply such a thing again... " She growled out, pain in her voice.

She felt no pain or guilt towards the other as she stopped turning her head slightly. "Then stop acting like you know nothing." She growled out before walking off. "If you know something state. Do not stand there keeping it to yourself. Let it out hearing what you have done let you know of your mistakes." She said as she closed her eyes walked straight onward.
"Mothers make mistakes all the time." She said softly. "We should not suffer in silence." She said as she let out a shaking sigh.
"Do not think you are the only one that has lost cubs." She said bluntly before stopping.
"Those where impure and I know that but they where still mine." She said her eyes snapping pen as she looked to the sky.
"I shall never forgive that man for what he did to me and I'm glad he rots." She said coldly.
"I can tell you right now I'm sure you have not felt my pain of having to kill your own offspring. Since then I have sworn off all males. No Father should ever touch a daughter that way." She said with a yell.

Another growl as she sat, slumping down to stretch out across the ground in the shade. She listened to the others words, but made no response to the disrespectful lioness. She would not speak to one who so offended her until offered proper apology. If the girl could not treat her as she deserved then there was no place for her within the new home Kurage wished to create.
Disrespect brought about anarchy. She could have no trouble-starters in such a new pride. If Mizu'nagara were to act in such a way to her in the public eye, others would begin to get ideas into their heads. Rebellion. Usurpers... It could not be allowed.
Shutting her eyes, Kurage settled to rest for a short bit, letting the blue lioness go and do as she pleased.
