All I have is pears D:

One or two coconuts have washed up on the beach but they don't grow damnit! mad

Coconuts can only be planted on the beach. Not in the sand, but just above it. And you get other fruits from other peoples' towns. 3nodding There's FAQ sticky in this guild for questions, btw.

I sees you in the GD. And you have to go on wi-Fi and take your friends fruit then plant it in your town. And did you make sure you plant your coconuts on the dirt and not the sand?

Don't the villagers sometimes give you rare fruit? I remember in the GC version they'd sometimes approach and try to get you to buy other fruit from them.

I got all the different fruits by mailing letters to my villagers.
I always attached some random present, usually my native fruit.
Sometimes they sent me back a fruit I did not have :3
