I've been painfully playing through season 5 as discipline priest/ret paladin in 2vs2, and yesterday i finally achieved my 2k rating. o/ And for the record i click Power Word: Shield, Prayer of Mending, and Renew. Hoyeah.
Now, to not make this all about me, how many people here actually pvp foserious? I'm just wondering, since pvp is my thing, and most people these days seem very focused on pve. What setup do you play (if any)? Is it working? What setups do you have the most? ;X
For me, i've grown so accustomed to holy/unholy that i can beat most of them as their paladins tend to be bad, even at decently high rating. Manaburnmanaburnmanaburnmanaburnmanaburn. So i guess my most hated combo would be affliction warlock/resto druid. That makes me RRRAAAAAGEEEEE.

I'm not too into PvP unless I'm REALLY pissed at something and I'll take it to the arenas on my 29 Twink Priest. Depending on my mood and motivation level I'll try to go for the mounts, but so far the only ones I've liked are the Frostwolf and Black war wolf.

you would do better against healer/lock if you bound all of your keys.
grats on your accomplishment, but 2k is still bad level for paladins, in the 1950+ range I killed atleast 10 paladins before they bubbled without strangulating them while carrying my healer (couldn't follow me, couldn't stay connected, constantly got feared by pillars in ring of valor (dc)). I also doubt most dks sit in frost pres vs your team as well
good luck when you start facing the hunters en mass, that's when my healer gave up because he couldn't LOS worth a s**t sad

I never liked arena. x.x Didn't stop me from getting season 2 gloves on my warrior... I'm more of a battleground person. I haven't really been doing much since Wrath came out unfortunately.
My boyfriend used to arena pretty hardcore. He did resto druid/warlock back in BC. 2k and about 12th on server when season 2 ended. They just never managed to break the 2k mark.

Eh, I don't PvP in a very serious sense, I do it for the lulz sometimes. My 2v2 team mate has been a lazy bum for the past 2 weeks and we haven't managed to get any points because of that. When we do play we run a Ret paladin and a repent holy paladin. Its fun to watch a healer trinket the first repent only to be hit by a second. biggrin
As for battlegrounds and WG, I have to have beacon of light to survive, I die too quickly in all the AoEs in those. Just toss it on myself and heal everyone around me.

Ohh, replies. When i said i click, i do in fact mean i click. Not as much anymore as when this post was made though, 'cause i got my act together. Still, some of the odd CD's still get mouseclickedlol, like Power Infusion.
Ended up with a 1950ish rating due to a high amount of restoshaman/retpally teams which we couldn't seem to get down - we still can't. Though patch made us retardedly overpowered, and we facerolled to 2150.
What we really have trouble with now seems to be shaman/ret like before, and also priest/rogue has been causing problems. All the rest just get pooned, because rets have OP damage and i can selfcast penance. HALP DEM ROGUES R POONIN ME THOUGH

Perhaps it's something about having a bunch of armor/hp and multiple stuns.... =x Prot warriors aren't bad in pvp at all. They're incredible at locking down certain casters, but there are too many classes that take them easily, and the damage isn't too good for something with no MS.
