This is a review of the game: Left4Dead. Ok, so, if your not into thriller/horror games [DO NOT PLAY IT], but if you are, your in for a thrill ride! Once you first start playing, its kinda freaky becasue the game is a random placement game. Random placement means that the zombies are randomly placed in the game and there never in the same place. In one game you could walk around the corner and not a single zombie will be there, but it the next, a HORDE OF SCREAMING GORY ZOMBIES WILL COME FLYING AT YOU FOR YOUR FLESH ^-^. You never know whats gonna happen in the next game you play. The game is all about TEAMWORK, if you don't work as a team.... your screwed... but other than that its awsome! There are 2 modes of multiplayer, co-op and versus. co-op is just where you go through the storyline with 4 other players and theres nothin special [Good for getting achievments though], but versus, MUCH more fun. In versus there are 8 players, 4 of them are survivors and the other 4 are special zombies! Special zombies all have unique abilities, one of them is the smoker, the smoker uses his tongue to wrap up his pray and pull them into the dark to kill them. There are a total of 4 special infected types. The best of all is the TANK!!! The tank is an extremely over-powered 1 hit kill massive almost invincible zombie that can throw large objects. If your lucky enough to be him, the survivors are screwed probably ^-^. I'd definity recommend this game to anyone who likes a game that you can play many times without it getting "old".

Storyline: Low (To simple, basic zombie plot)
Likes: The online mode is insanely awesome! I love the actual offline gameplay to but its way better online.
Dis-Likes: The noobs who do stupid things online...

Also, if you don't have xbox live or a ton of friends to system link with, this game is a waste of money.

it got old after i played through the only 4 levels and only 4 charecters without any unlockables. yes the AI spawn in different places, but it is still the same enimies and modles, and the tank only spawns in 2-3 different places. for a game that has been worked on for years, i would expect a little more. yes the game redifined zombie FPS for the better, but they didnt even reward you with bonus feautures. the games flaws are easy to point out.
-small set of options
-special infected trap you with no means of escape
-short for over a 3 year project
-unorginized and long waiting lobbys
yes, it is fun when you play occasionally with friends, but for 60 bucks for only 4 hours of gameplay, it doesnt satisfy me. Valve is an amazing company, but compared to it's other titles such as HL 1-2/2 and CS it hardly satisfys my thirst for a new game. maybe the HL 2/3 project has been blocking their full efforts, but it's not like Valve to make such a short game.I had fun the first few times i played through the game but no story, small arsenal of wepons, and 4 levels with 4 characters,but it wore off.
Yes they claimed that the AI spawning system would change gameplay, but with such a loose unorganized campaign (4 the better of course) its still just zombies with the occasional special infected no matter where the spawn. i would love some fun little references and extra characters but Valve apparently didnt find it needed.

well i find it a good game no matter how many times i play through it because to me its always a little challenge on the last level and the tanks make the game alot more fun for me because they destroy evrything and they are hard to take down (especially on expert where i wasted all of my assault rifle ammo into him and he still didnt die hes was even on fire) but the witchs could be a bit harder to kill they arent that hard to kill if you are equipped with the right weapons (im talking about the semi-automatic shotgun really)

Usually, it's pretty predictable where the witch is going to be you hear that eerie music.................. sad but yes, if you have the semi auto shotgun, just get in a good place and blow her head off!! HEHEHEHE! burning_eyes burning_eyes
