Name: Bevan
Age: 14 Turns
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Craft: Tanner
Rank: Apprentice/Candidate
Physical Description: Bevan looks similar to his older brother, Kiriwar, but has a bulkier, more plain form. He has an earthy look to him, with near bronzed skin and dark brown hair that is completely straight and a bit choppily cut, tied back with a simple leather strap. The tail’s end falls between his shoulder blades. He has a tall, muscled form, being a boy who loved running around outside and kicking up dirt, with strong shoulders and arms, muscled legs and powerful hands fully capable of handling any heavy lifting or dirty work that needs to be done. His eyes are a bright, chestnut brown, always filled with mischief, looking for someone else to bother or boss, set over high cheekbones and a stubborn mouth and chin. Usually, he wears simple clothes, not wanting to bother himself with dressing up, sticking to plain leathers and solid cottons.
Personality: There is something dashing and attractive about Bevan, but it is all definite ruse – the boy is nothing short of a bully. Bevan picks fights and picks on others, finding the majority of people unworthy of a kind word, let alone his time. He is a brute in a teen form, big and willing to swing his weight around to get what he wants and get others to get it for him. His overall demeanor is one of confidence and arrogance, when he really is just another teen full of bitter feelings towards those who caused him struggle and strife – namely, in his eyes, his older brother and his father – though he will not hesitate to take his anger out on anyone else. When it comes to tasks at hand, Bevan is stubborn, refusing to give up on any problem until he's solved it or beaten it into the ground.
History: Bevan grew up the second son, five years younger than Kiriwar and a relief for his mother. He took after her, following the Tanners craft that her family line had – after Kiriwar took to the Vintner craft, his mother felt slighted, but having her other two sons follow her line was a slight touch-up to her pride. But he grew up knowing he was something of a ‘second-best’ and that his younger brother was even less, and this has already embittered him. As he grew older, he took to being cruel and rude, pushing people around to get what he wanted, including his older brother, just because he knew he could get away with it.
When Kiriwar was Searched and taken to Ista, he had to deal with his mother’s fury about him and the youngest not being good enough to be Searched, but was, thankfully, taken away from this when he was Searched at a later date, taken to the same place that his brother was brought to. So now, he’s working hard at becoming the rider his mother wants him to be.
Pets: none
Other/Talents: Bevan is well-muscled for his age, able to lift and carry things normal teens typically would struggle with, but he does have his limits. He wears out after a while.
