Not too sure about how things go on wherever you are, but around my way, the best stories come from Music class and Science class. But most of Music class is just perverted jokes and misunderstandings, so let's focus on....Science

I have many. Mostly because I think my science teacher is both entirely there yet partially clueless.

1. Partners in Science!
In one of our science rooms (The one that both my brother and I have science in), there is a picture with Einstein on it about the International Year of Physics. My brother and his friends printed out pictures of Stalin and Bill Nye, put them beside Einstein, and put a lable underneath it saying: "PARTNERS IN SCIENCE"

2. It Burns!

Yesterday, we were doing a lab for chemistry. We had to mix the compounds, record the reactions, figure out the compounds made using the laws of double and single displacement, and identify what was a precipitate, what wasn't, etc.

So, here we are, me and my partner, mixing things on the spot plates. Nearly every dish on the plate was full, but we only had a few reactions left, so we figured we'd just use the last few then wash the spot plate as a whole into the chemical waste jar. I had poured the first compound (All were liquids) into the plate, and I was going to pour the second. I squeezed the bottle, and rather than dropping out the drop-bottle end, the end popped off, and the chemicals in the bottle shot out. They then splashed the chemicals in the plate, and splashed back onto my hands and the counter.

So, what were the magical chemicals? Well, there were a lot, but the ones I remember were:
Potassium Nitrate (Used in some rocket fuels and curing salami)
Sulfuric Acid
Sodium Chloride
Silver Nitrate
Silver Chloride
Sodium Nitrate
Hydrochloric Acid

There were a bunch more. There were several more chlorides, one or two sulfates, and other assorted chemicals. If you were wondering why both AgNO3, HCl, and HSO4 were bolded (Hopefully you figured out sulfuric and hydrochloric acid on your own...), it's because they're both highly corrosive.

Along with the chemicals from yesterday, I cut my hand today. So my writing (and typing) hand is a painful mess...

Fun, scientifical tales from science class?

Um, at SFU, I blew up half the lab when I mixed these two things together, I believe it was Pure Sodium, Francium and Water. Needless to say, we had a reaction.
