So I just saw on the news they are lowering the police budget in Whatcom county and encouraging civilians to learn how to use firearms to defend themselves against possible intruders.
Uhhh, wtf, what do you guys think of this?
A little too oldschool old west aint it?

Wow . . . that's straight up classy. Next thing you know, they'll hang people for auto-rustling and resolve court cases with a duel at high noon.
Then again, I could totally see that creating a drastic drop in frivolous court cases. No more suing Starbucks for spilling coffee in your lap, or suing McDonalds for using beef oil to make french fries.
