Mako Temple.
A small temple in the far center of the Tikari Forest. It's run down completely and in ruin but is a small shelter to small animals and the injured. Oddly, for being run down it actually still has a powerful aura radiating from it. It also seems to ward of negative energies . If someone ever decides to go in it, since people don't normally go inside due to the creepy factor, maybe we'll find out what's inside.

As Zephel arrived with Raven he started feeling a little wierd as they got closer and closer to the Temple. The place had looked run down and just plain out abandoned, vines creeped up the sides of the wall and occsional a birds nest could be spotted in a crack or crevice in the higher parts of the walls or columns.
Entering the building, zephel started to feel slightly nauses. He didn't know exactly why but he a feeling that the temple was to blame for the problem at hand. But, he simply just tried to ignore the feeling but the deeper into the temple the slightly worse the feeling. He didn't know it, but the temple did repel evil and bad spirits, may not always effectively do it but enough to give any Evil entity a problem. The issue with Zephel wasn't that he was evil, he just shared his body with an evil spirit, Envy. " Why of all places would animals come here?" He said, with a tiny hint of ill in his voice.He took a deep breath and starightend up. " And no I don't 'like' her. I Just want to have a match against her...thats all. " He didn't.

  Raven giggled. "Sorry, I forgot about Envy. Although, I'm sure he isn't too happy to hear that. It's a temple, Zephy, you'd be fine if you didn't have an evil spirit leeching on your soul."
She stepped carefully over the fallen pieces of wood and stone. "I need to get better at transforming my clothing," Raven moaned as she managed to simply eliminate the heels from her shoes. Her little secret, her clothing was made of her magic. If her magic was somehow sucked from her...well it had better be near a clothing store.

In the back of the temple Shilo perked up. There were voices. She patted the head of a baby fawn she was tending to and made her way towards the front of the temple.
"Why are you here?" she asked with a commanding tone. Her cyan hair fell down her shoulders and her jacket furled around her feet. Shilo's left hand rested on the hilt of the mysterious crystal sword that could cut through anything with ease.
Shilo surveyed the two, so they were from earlier...at the island. Why were they back? She thought she had done a good enough job of evading them entirely. Were they trackers? The one was of a kitsune clan after all, she could smell the fox all over him. She could also feel the evil exuding from him.
"Your evil is not welcomed. This is a place of refuge," she said sharply.

Zephel smirked at the idea of Envy feeling worse then him. Even though raven didn't say that or imply it, it just came to his mind since he feels bad and he's not evil yet still feels like crap, Envy would most liekly have it harder. " Actually, i'm glad we're here, make this b*****d suffer." He can't stand everything the spirit had put him through, and just the idea that Envy would be with him till death bothered him. He did look up once about removing Envy from his soul, but there was a slight issue with it. Envy had become so attached to his soul that they had actually become one, Envy now represented the envouis half and darker half of zephel, and removing him would most likely kill Zephel.
A small laugh came from Zephel and he said a small stupid comment as a joke to bother raven. " Hope it fails one day while i'm around. " He said jokingly about her magic and how it affected her clothing. He did a similar thing but his was more permanent.
As the two continued walking he had heard shilo's voice and looked to his side to see her. By this point, Zephel was experincing some nausea but he was able to bear with it. He looked at raven not knowing what to say and kind of nudged her forward to say something to shilo. One thing struck him like a rock though and he gave Shilo a quick cold stare, even though it wasn't like him. " I'm not evil, take that back." He hated people calling him that, he didn't Envy's presence affecting other's judgement towards him.

Crystal stood outside the temple and frowned "this place is a eye sore". She talked up to the entrance, the second her foot touched the inside of the temple her face was full of dread "brother, your so stupid, how could anything evil be in here" she held in one hand a black orb, and the other her axe "alright, father I'll see what I can find". She started to walk into the darkness of the temple and with each step she felt worse and worse. "Damn it, I can't keep going", she quieted down and heard voices not that far off. She looked at the orb "father I need just a little more power" the orb began to glow, only for a second and Crystal felt the effects right away. She walked towards the voices and came to a stop right behind the group of people "looks like i'm a little late to the party" she looked the two girls over and smiled.

Raven glared at Zephel for his comment about her powers. "Careful, I'll tell Izto on you," she teased sticking her tongue out at him. It was then that she heard a beam or something tip and looked over towards where the sound came from.
She was a little taken aback by Shilo's suddenly hostile nature, she had seemed rather calm at the beach. Raven stumbled a little when Zeph nudged her forward and turned to look at him. She had no idea what to tell the girl, it was Zephel that wanted to find her in the first place.
That was when another voice joined the three and Raven turned to look. Who was this new person? Were they being followed? Either way, the dark orb in her hand didn't look promising, the axe in her other was no problem.

Shilo glared at Zephel, had she seen them before? "If you are not evil then why are you here?" Shilo asked, not mentioning the presence he was exuding.
It wasn't until the final girl arrived that Shilo looked like she had had enough. Her patience was nothing of the saints of her world. There was no point telling Shilo that this girl was not filled of dark intentions.
"Enough! The three of you get out of my home," she calmly commanded drawing her sword of mysterious cerulean crystal. The edges were jagged as if carved roughly from the rock it was made from, but it shone through like untouched glass.

The way shilo reacted completely threw Zephel off. He didn't remember the girl being so hostile before. He looked at raven gave her a shrug. He was just as lost as she could be as to the girl's reaction. Zephel's eyes trailed to the side, from where the sound of somebody else coming in was heard. He looked at the woman with a Black orb and an axe....great...an axe. He had to admit, he loved the look of the axe but now wasn't a moment to admire weapons. His eyes shot back to shilo so he could quickly tell her why he was there and then pay attention to the new girl that came. " I just came to tlak to you alright." He told her quickly so he could pay attention to the to ther other girl. But he couldn't, now shil posed a threat as well as he saw her pull out her sword, same one that fasinated him on as to how the hell it sliced through his crystal.
Sadly, the situation wasn't really what Zephel had been hoping for. He felt horriable because of the temple, the girl he came to see because he sort of kind of maybe liked but wouldn't admit was ready to attack him, and some random girl with a weapon drawn cam eout of nowhere with obvisously no good intentions. He sighed, standing up straight, and forming his M9, the model that he knew of at least, not the new one which he was dieing to see. He looked at raven for a moment to say something. " Did you picture this crap happening?" He asked her with a palm going to his face.

Crystal smiled at Raven "such a cutie" she licked her lips and then looked at Zephel and could not care less, but the orb in her hand flashed "are you sure" the orb flashed again "alright". In a flash Crystal was next to Zephel "there is such evil inside you, I can smell it", she licked his cheek, and frowned "but, whats this, its coming from within you" she held the black orb up to her lips and said under her breath "father, would you like to wake up this person". She smiled and looked at Zephel "would you hold this for a second" she asked holding it towards him the orb started glowing, and a feeling of dread started to flow from it "just one touch, sweetie, that's all".

Zephel tensed up and prepared to raise a crystal wall push Crystal away but he noticed he didn't attack him. Instead, what she did raised the hair on his head a little bit. Taking a step back from being slightly creep out he looked at crystal and thought one thing, at least she didn't pull on any of his invisible fox ears or tail. The whole time though, he was confused with everything she was muttering. Father? was her dad inside the that black orb? Whatever it was, it was not good. It had a feeling to it that just wasn't right. In fact, he could feel the evil coming out of it just from where he was standing. What truly freaked Zephel out though,was the fact that she was onto Envy
Everything changed in a split second after hearing 'father, would you like to wake up this person'. He instinctively knew what she was attempting and what he had to prevent. Without a second more of letting that ball get closer to him Zephel materialized a crystal wall to separate him from Crystal and then turned on his invisibility. " 10/10..... Raven, she wants Envy to come out!" saying 10/10, Zephel was keeping up with how many things he could make that Drained all his calories. Luckily making guns and ammo were minor for him, but when it came defensive crystals in which he has to make them thicker it takes a lot more out of him.

Raven let out a growling noise from deep in her throat at the girl. She didn't need another evil stalker, one was enough thank you very much. Clenching her fists, she felt her nails cut into the flesh of her palms and was just about to punch the girl in the face when she moved onto Zephel.
A sort of protective instinct welled up inside of her and there was no way she was letting Zeph grab onto that crystal. Before she could do anything, Zephel got his wits about him and sent up the crystal wall before turning invisible.
Raven blinked slowly, and when she opened them they were pure black. This allowed her to see infrared radiation, so she could still see Zephel while he was invisible.
"I know that, but what are we supposed to do?" Raven hissed not looking at him so she wouldn't give away his position.

Shilo twirled her sword in a figure eight motion, taking the top corner of the crystal wall completely. It fall to the ground with a crashing thud where it cracked some of teh old tile flooring.
"My sword can cut through anything. Including your axe; including your bones. I'll ask you nicely, one last time," Shilo said to the demon girl.
There was no reason why she shouldn't be doubled over in pain from this place. Shilo herself exuded a holy presence, not even including the fact that this was a temple of Acalites, the holiest and oldest religion in the continent.

Crystal laughed "this is turning out swell" she picked up her Axe and laid it on her shoulder and looked around talking to Zephel, well the spirit inside him anyways "do you want to be left out of all the fun, why don't you take control, think of it, a body of your own, and freedom from this brat, I can help you, just take control for a few seconds and take hold of this orb, and your freedom is grated" she held out the orb to the space in front of her, and shrug "maybe your to week to control such a brat". She waited, knowing that no matter what Vain, her father would be free this day.

Zephel started to feel horriably sick to his stomach, his head obtaining a horriable migrain, and his left eye turned violet. Envy wanted out, for some reason he had been ungodly quite but now Envy was trying to take control and it took of all of zephel's concentration to fight off Envy's grasp. His invisability dropped, and so did he, onto one knee at least. His hands on the side of his head. "Damn it, Raven...he's trying....really...hard to get...Ugh...out!" He forced to say as he felt so much pressure inside his body. His eyes and hair were now changing. His hair would go from white to black and back to white and his eyes from red to violet and back. You could tell of the constant struggle that was going on within zephel. Never had Envy been so forceful to come out on his own.
"I...am tired...of your weak friends, your weak self, and most of all i'm tired of you never feeling an ENVY!!!" Envy boomed in Zephel's mind. Trying with all his force to break Zephel's will. All it would take for Envy to take control of him would be Zephel to be exposed to something filled with darkness or at the least a kick to the head to knock out his concentration. The Temple Weakened Envy's grasp on Zephel, he had to admit but he was not going to give up on taking over him.

Crystal smiled and walked slowly towards the fallen Zephel "just a little more" he bent down and held the orb towards him. "Just take control of his arm, and touch this" the orb began to glow and black liquid started to pour out, it began to have a heart beat. "Come on, are you going to let him control you for the rest of your immortal life" she leaned towards Zephel and as if she was going to kiss him "do it now" she commanded in a soft and peaceful voice and waited, her fathers voice started to echo threw her head, and she aimed her fist at Zephel's head, using all of her force.

Shilo at that point started murmuring a series of prayers in a language that was not of this world. A strong white light surrounded Zephel and then suddenly it was if time itself was standing still.
Raven snapped her fingers and two kamas appeared in her hands, one made of gold the other a fine silver. She twirled them and the golden one lit on fire while the silver coated itself with ice. She didn't like using them as the weapons called out to their mate, the twin sais that her brother wielded.
Shilo looked at Raven. "I have stopped time around everything in this temple and him. Stay connected to him physically when you run from here and you'll stay mobile. If she leaves, she too will be frozen. Now go!"
Shilo then rose her sword and aimed for Crystal's wrist. She would remove the dark orb from the girl no matter what.
Raven bit her lip and then twirled her weapons again, the fire and ice diffusing. Tucking them into the holster that appeared at the side of her hip she wrapped Zephel's arm around her neck and lifted him up, wrapping her arm around his waist.
"Be careful...thank you," Raven then ran from the temple, keeping all of Zephel's weight on her and towards her dorm. In her mind she screamed a message to Anik.
Shilo nodded and watched them leave and started a mental timer in her head. Ten minutes should be enough time for them to find a place to hide. Turning her attention on the girl she struck out once more for her.
"I will destroy any evil in this temple. If I have to kill I will, the smartest option you have is to surrender."

Envy's grasp had weakend on Zephel, and he could feel it. But still, he wouldn't stop shutting himself away from envy since he still felt an evil taint leaking in him. He felt horrible and actually thought that he would of lost all control because of Crystal. He was glad shilo decided to help him in the end and not cut him down to get ready of the "evil" he had inside him. Feeling the white light Zephel's mind was a bit more at ease but he still felt extremely weak. HE even attempted to get up himself but nothing. His legs just weren't holding him up enough for him to walk straight.
Feeling Raven though zephel blushed. Not from liking the girl, but from embarrassment. He felt embarrassed that this girl had to drag him along out of the temple. " I'm...pathetic huh?" He asked her weakly as they left the temple and headed towards her dorm. He begged Izto would not get the wrong idea. He knew he wasn't the type to jump to conclusions but you never knew. Today could be the day he takes it wrong, or god forbid, his sister decided to intervene today. He doubted though, Rei was off with lucy somewhere anyway last he heard
