AIM LOG: Manda & _ p a o cx

Tarik slowly but surely made his way down to the ground, grumbling one thing or another about how heavy his wings were and how inconvenient they were when he wanted to fly. It was, perhaps, his most constant complaint, yet these same wings helped keep him cool when he was walking around in the mortal's realm. It was a mixed feeling, sort of, as he was both loved and hated his wings. Still, as soon as he landed he spat another few curses concerning his wings before finally letting the issue go...for the umpteenth time. It wasn't as though he was willing to clip his wings just to be rid of them anyway. As it was, his mood kept him from thinking too straight, so (yet again) he forgot to pull on a guise. Eyes trained on the ground beneath him as he walked, he paid no attention to his surrounding whatsoever.

Wandering around near the borders of the pride lands, Mear'ksh was bored today. It had been a little while since she'd had anything fun to really play with and so she was hunting - in a way.Though she was being lazy about it, just seeing if she could perhaps flush out a rabbit or two. Which was when she looked up... and spotted something white and blue. And with WINGS. Oooh my... what was this? Padding closer, she called, "Hellooo there~?"

Amidst his frustrated mind the god looked up at the sound of another's voice, raising a brow when he spotted a lioness not too far off. Fantastic. Exactly what he was looking for - company. Or not. He couldn't bring himself to reply just yet, and since she'd noticed him in his real form there was no point in wasting energy putting a disguise together and masking himself. Instead he spread his wings and hovered over to her, much too lazy to walk the distance (small as it was). Upon landing the male looked at her with an irritated expression on his face. "What?" he asked, voice gruff and very unpleasant, even for him.

Mear'ksh blinked at that. Ooh, grumpy! This could be fun... "I've just never seen a god before," she replied innocently. She -knew- better than to try to hurt him, but other ideas were popping up in her head now. And actually, she -had- seen Morifaer from a distance before, but did this one have to know that? "What are you doing here?"

Her reply pulled an exasperated look on his face, and he sat back and looked at her with a raised brow. Usually people who've never seen an immortal before kept away. Adults anyway, by his experience. Or maybe they try to say something intelligible but instead they sound a little...well, it basically had the opposite effect. Cubs were a different story. Still, this was a little different in that she'd called him over. Sort of. Her last question made him scoff lightly, not really in the mood for small talk, but figuring she wouldn't go away until she'd had her fill of seeing a god. "Just passing through. And you?"

"Heh. I live here," she replied, looking around a bit. "Looking for a guide? The volcano is veeeeery interesting inside." She wasn't supposed to go in there, no... but. Didn't mean that she couldn't try to lure him in. Then maybe Morifaer would show up and they'd fight! That could be fun.

Tarik glanced around as she did, wondering if there was a pride nearby of if she was just claiming the area immediately surrounding them as hers. It didn't really matter to him, he was just passing through after all. When she mentioned something about a volcano his frown only deepened. The idea of being brought to a volcano made him cringe. "I don't like volcanoes unless they're dormant," he said with distaste. "So where exactly is here?" he then asked, wanting to change the subject.

"These ... are the lands of the Aikanaro'hini," she replied with a bit of a purr in her voice now. "Demons," she added on, smirking slightly. "Don't supposed you've ever heard of us, have you?" Gods didnt' know everything, it seemed.

"I know of the god, but not of a pride," he said slowly, a bit surprised that such a pride did exist. It probably shouldn't have, though, since the existence of a god meant that he had followers and believers in the mortal realm. Still, though, he didn't think that there'd be a pride.. "It has nothing to do with me, though, so I don't suppose it's something I have to know anyway." And at that he gave a shrug and stood on all fours again. It was, he felt, about time he left anyway. There was nothing here that interested him.

Mear'ksh blinked when he stood up. Was he leaving? That wouldn't do at all! Moving just a bit closer, she widened eyes at him. "But aren't you even the least bit -curious- about other things outside your own realm?" she asked, sitting down again in front of him so that it wasn't easy for him to leave. A tiny little plan was forming in her mind... knowing about Iartuupe's Seer children... she wondered if she might obtain some of her own. Even if some were white, she could just get rid of those.

Now it was Tarik's turn to blink a few times at her sudden change in behaviour. Well...sort of change. The male raised a brow curiously at the girl, wondering what exactly could pacify her and allow him to leave. If it was her pride she wanted to talk about, he didn't have any problems with that. It really didn't interest him, but he needed to leave soon. And if she wanted to talk, well so be it. At that point Tarik sat back down, heaving a sigh. "Not really, but if you feel so inclined to inform me then please do. And hurry." At that he glanced around for a second, not quite comfortable with all the open space since he didn't have a guise on. "Ah, but before that, open spaces and this form don't get along very well. Would you mind moving to somewhere a little more...not in the open?"

Oh -perfect-! Mear'ksh nodded almost eagerly at that and glanced around. "I actually have a small den not too far away... over by those rocks," she replied, nodding to some shapes a little ways distant. There actually -was- a small cave that she knew of there, though it didn't really belong to her. These were the edges of the pridal lands... most of the real dens were farther in.

Well that was good enough for him. At mention of the den not too far off Tarik stood once again, glancing down at the still seated lioness as though telling her to hurry up. He'd listen to her, make a comment or two, then take his leave. "Alright, fine. Lead the way then uh....your name was..?"

"Mear'ksh," she replied, the purr still in her voice. And she did stand up quickly then, and moved off - glancing back to be sure he followed. Once she reached the rocks, she jumped up onto one, and then down into a little space between two others... and wormed her way inside a small natural cave. "Sorry, it might be just a little..... cramped."

Tarik followed closely after her, brow still raised as she wriggled her way through the entrance of what seemed like a tiny cave. When she said small a moment ago he didn't think it'd be this small, but he already said that he'd give her words a listen. What could it hurt anyway? If anything he may have found some shelter for the night if she talked for too long. "Not a problem," he said with a sigh as he squeezed himself through and into the small cave. Once settled inside he glanced at her curiously, a little confused as to why she'd lead him to such a small den. "Right.. so let's get started."

"Indeed..." Mear'ksh replied at that - and began spinning out tale after tale (many of them make up) about the pride and its founding and famous members and so and so forth. Until she had ensured it had started to get dark outside. And all the while, she scooted closer and closer to the young god in that cave, pushing him up against a wall. Finally, she had him just about right where she wanted him... and then well. Nature took its course.
