Ro & KiKi was so confused. She had been up all day and all night thinking about what happened with her and Dah and still she couldn't understand it. Was he messing with her or did he mean it? Was this real... or maybe a dream? Things had gotten pretty heated the other day, so she was here trying to relax. Her body sat as she spoke out to a friend, her tone soft... but laced with worry.
"And then I ran off."
She finished her story, nodding slowly. "Well, do you love him?" Ro asked softly, sitting beside Ki, narrowing his eyes. He was a white male with red tattoos all over his body; he was also a good friend of Ki's and a seer. Ki needed answers, so... she came to him. "It sounds like he really meant what he said, but I think he just didn't know how to word it." "Maybe.."
Ki nodded, looking away.
"Maybe not, though. I don't know. I really don't. What should I do, Ro?"The male sighed and looked at her with his golden eyes, speaking. "I think you need to talk to him, really. I think it's needed right now. What if you never tell him how you feel? that could drive him crazy..." Ki nodded. Maybe... she needed to talk to him after all. The two sat side by side, enjoying the view as they spoke.

Dah moved along the pridelands in a sluggish manner, his gaze on the ground. He had ******** things up so completely... he'd attempted to act on his lust, that had failed. He had admited his true feelings to Ki, that had failed. And to top it off she ran off without a word, which was obvious to him that he'd taken it the wrong way. She loved him as a brother, a best friend. And she was probably disgusted with what he'd said and done the other day...
He groaned softly and shook his head, sighing. At times like these he wished perhaps he was closer to Ki's brothers, or had friends of his own to speak with. As he continued he suddenly could smell the female in the air, and he groaned. Why were the pridelands seemingly so small? He dragged his gaze up but what his eyes landed on was... he frowned deeply.
Ki had other friends? male friends? And why was she sitting so close to that guy? He continued heading toward them, even though Ki probably didn't want to see him right then. But seeing her with that male made him feel threatened, and a little pissed. Was this who she truly loved?

Ro's ear's twitched as he turned and frowned, speaking out to Ki softly.
"I think your boyfriend is here."
Ki turned and sighed. Oh, Dah. He still looked really upset. She didn't understand why. Her red pelt slid up as she stood and called out to him, her voice a little on edge.
"Dah."
She stopped, not really knowing what to say. Her heart was still in bits after the other day.
"We need to talk."
She nodded and turned to Ro. He was a good friend for talking to her, and was right. Ki just needed to tell Dah how she felt... right?

Dah's gaze was still on the strange male, watching as he turned his head to take a look at him. His eyes narrowed when they met the other's for the briefest of seconds. Then Ki stood, began to move toward him. A deep frown had set into his features, his heart sinking. 'We need to talk' was never a good sign.
"Who's your friend, Ki?" He said slowly, almost codly and it was easy to sense the suspicion in his voice. He'd stopped moving when he'd come close enough for her to hear him, uncaring if the other male was going to over hear what he was going to say. s**t. s**t, s**t. He really didn't want to know what he was suspecting, that this was her mate or something.
He glanced away from her and winced, looking back. Should he just tell her it had all been a cruel, ******** up joke? Haha got you sort of deal? Of course... that would ruin any friendship he might be able to salvage after hearing this was her mate. "So... so he's why you didn't answer yesterday?" He breathed out finally, jerking his chin toward the other male.

Ki could see that Dah was taking everything the wrong way, already. She frowned and waved a paw at his face, as if to grab his gaze away from her friend.
"Dah. That is Ro. Ro is a friend. He was talking to me about this because I didn't know who else to talk to, other than you."
She nodded harshly and added.
"A friend he is, and nothing more. You should know that, you stupid ******** jerk."
Her words were not meant to harm him, that was just how Ki spoke to Dah. She wasn't as good with her words as he was, she was... pretty bitchy and swore a lot.
"Dah. I love you."
She was able to say under a frowning brow, tilting her head to the side.
"But you have to ******** trust me. Really, you know me better than anyone else..."
Her body moved closer to his as she filled the gap between them slowly, moving until her nose poked his softly; it was cold.
"Dah..."
She mewed.
"Please. Let's not fight like this anymore."

His ears flattened. He wanted to ask her how the hell he was supposed to have assumed that when she'd just ran away from him yesterday like he was some sort of living dead? But relief flooded his stomach as she insisted the other was a friend, nothing more.
And then she told him she loved him again, which he could have assumed she meant as a brother or a friend, but she did something she'd never done to him before. Her nose bumped up against his in a slightly intimate gesture, and his eyes widened a little. "Y...you... so.." He glanced to the Ro character and then back to Ki, nodding dumbly.
"You... mean in the same.. way as I... feel toward you, right?" He asked quietly, still unsure. He'd probably have to apologize about how he'd told her too. Honestly... saying something like that to her. "I don't want to fight anymore either." He added, trying to show he wasn't picking one now.

"Yeah, I hope it's the same way you feel toward me." She laughed slightly. "Or else this would be pretty ******** weird." She gave him a smile that only hew knew, nuzzling him now. Her eyes closed. For a second she just enjoyed herself, not wanting this good feeling to go to waste, but soon she remembered what she wanted to say to him and moved back. " Just, next time don't be so gross about it." She winked at him and turned to Ro, smirking.
Ro just laughed and stood up, understanding now that things were going to be okay with them, and he was glad to help.

He smiled slightly and nodded, eyes shutting as she nuzzled into him. He'd wanted this for so long, it almost felt a little surreal. As she told him to not be so gross about it next time his eyes snapped open and he felt a little embarrassed. He coughed and nodded again. "Right... I'm sorry about that, truly." He mumbled.
As she turned toward his friend his gaze moved toward the other and his ears flicked, he frowned slightly then moved toward the other. "Er... sorry about the look I gave you earlier." He said, softly. He was an idiot sometimes, but it was hard not to be in the matters of love!

"Now come on, I want to tell my mother about this, I need to have her blessing."
Ki purred at him and waved goodbye to her friend, nuzzling against Dah softly before turning to gaze out at the open land.
"Hard part is... finding my mother, haha."

Dah nodded goodbye to Ro and began to move with Ki, wincing slightly. "Do we really need to speak to your mother?" He said, but he offered half a grin to the female. Vikali; a lioness like no other. She was bitchy and used actions before her mind, treated her boys a bit poor and her only daughter like a goddess (but that was one thing Dah could appreciate, even if it left Ki a bit spoiled.) and was stubborn as all hell. He wondered how she'd take the news, if she'd appreciate it... she generally thought most males weak and lame. Could he be worthy enough? He was doubtful.
His tail flicked and the nervousness he was beginning to feel was growing in the pit of his stomach. "er.... well I think she could be a bit west of priderock, near a small watering hole. I've passed the area a few times and she always seems to be there." He wasn't sure if he should mention the male he'd been seeing hanging around with Vi or not. The two didn't act like mates, not that he knew of anyhow.

"I have to tell her, Dah. I have no other choice, she is my mother."
Ki nodded and sighed, looking at priderock. This was going to be weird. very weird. Her head tilted to the side as she spoke out.
"I think I better talk to her myself. You know? I will be back soon, alright?"
With that the red lioness dashed off. She needed to tell mother, and fast.
