The park... again. Kaden just groaned. He was getting rather tired of the place, but Caleb never wanted to go anywhere else. The boy couldn't sit still long enough to go most places... and his fondness for running made it impossible to go to others. So it was the park. Again.
Caleb and Rex were running about, ignoring the playground equipment. First off, it was rather boring... and secondly, Rex couldn't do a lot of it. So, running it was. They could play chase (Rex always won...), or race (Rex usually won...), or just run about! They were doing the last option at the moment and Kaden was getting worn out from just watching them.

Iason sat on a bench on one side of the playground equipment, watching the fox child play. Was it really normal for him to spend so much time by himself?
Iamie had been playing happily on the swings when he noticed the gold blur, and the boy with it, running around the playground. The boy looked like Caleb, one of the dog boys he had meet at the Playland trip. He jumped off the swing, and darted towards the boy.
"Caleb!" He yelled, waving. Would he remember him?
Well, this was interesting. His little fox apparently knew somebody else. He glanced around, looking for the other boy's ward.

The boy turned as he heard his name. Who was that? He glanced about and spotted a kid waving at him. Hrm... hadn't he met the kid at the playroom thing? He was bad with names, though. "C'mon, Rex!" The boy grinned and ran over to the kid.
"Hey! This is Rex! He finally got big enough to come home with me!" This was the first kid he'd run into from FactS since he'd brought the dragon home and he was excited to have someone else meet Rex.
Kaden glanced over he heard his son's name. Hmm? Ah, a kid seemed to know the boy. And it seemed Caleb knew him, at least some. That boy was so bad at remembering most kids. He tended to refer to them in weird ways. There was the wolf twins, snake boy, big snake boy... the list went on like such.

"Hiya Rex!" Iamie said, greeting the Chimera. "I'm Iamie." It didn't occur to the little foxboy that it wasn't really necessary to introduce himself to the boy's chimera, and had done it instinctively. Iason had told him that it was important to introduce himself to people who were introduced to him.
"He's so cool! Can I pet him?"

Caleb grinned and nodded. "Yeah! He won't bite, will ya, Rex?" The boy grinned at the chimera, who thumped his tail happily against the ground. The chimera loved attention, something he got plenty of from Caleb and his two dads, but not from Reese, who was rather scared of the dragon.

Iamie grinned back at Caleb, and ran his hand over the golden chimera. He was careful in his petting, knowing that animals didn't like to be petted roughly, and this one was bigger than he was.
Rex was the second chimera that he had met, the first being the one in the infirmary, and it was still awesome. He couldn't wait until he would get his own, that would just be cool, although he hoped that his would be smaller.
"What can he do?"

"He can run really really fast like me." Caleb told the younger boy. The canine boy loved his chimera and loved the fact that Rex could keep up with him in running around. It was the bestest thing ever.
Rex's tail thumped against the ground happily as Iamie pet him. He loved the park! This was so much fun!
