Gerda: -wary eyes towards Piper and her puppies, thinking, praying that they don't turn out like their mother. Tail tucks and she looks around for other wolves to converse with perhaps-
Tauro: *trots up to her sister, sniffing* Hello, Gerda. Not interested in the grandpuppies?
Gerda: -head snaps up and her ears p***k, tail beginning to wag. Nods quickly, glancing over at Piper once more. They haven't spoken since Piper became the alpha and she worries about being kicked out before her own puppies are born-
Tauro: *sniffs again, eyes lighting up as she realizes Gerda is preggers (again). She grins.* More nieces and nephews coming? *whines happily*
Gerda: -stands still, her tail waving as her sister sniffs her over. Her belly is slightly rounded, but unless you looked hard, you couldn't tell much. She nods, a smile lighting up her face at the fact that Tauro seems eager that she's pregnant and for the first time, feels pleased with the puppies on their way-
Piper: -notices her mother and Tauro, licks Rumor once more, and pads over to them- Hello...mother. And... -eyes Tauro, knowing that the wolfess isn't from Gomorrah but feeling a strange connection to her- Friend.
Tauro: *bristles at Piper's tone, knowing her colors are different enough from Gerda's that they aren't recognized as sisters; plants her front paws in front of Gerda protectively* Yes, hello, friend.
Piper: -sees Tauro bristle and cover for Gerda, but thinks nothing of it really. Sits down across from them, taking in the sight of her mother's swollen tummy and smiles a little, thinking of her own puppies, as motherhood has toned her down a little...at least for now, while she's busy- I'm going to have more siblings? -cocks her head to one side-
Gerda: -nods slowly, uncertain whether Piper will take this good or bad and is pleased to have Tauro protecting her. Only wishes she had Tauro for protection years before, when Tabansi lead her into Gomorrah-
Piper: -knows the puppies won't be her full siblings, so she doesn't take it as a threat- Well congratulations... And you? -looks to Gerda- You can talk. Are you the lucky father? -smirk-
Tauro: *snarls slightly, unsure as to what Piper is implying but not liking it* Perhaps you should pay more attention to your own pup's father, and less to other's affairs.
Piper: -tosses her head back with a laugh at Tauro's response- Thought as much. Well that's good, other than the fact that you're not from our pack. -ears twitch and she stands, looking over at Hurricane with a softer smile-
Gerda: [Our pack...Since when was I apart of her pack?] -shakes head at her thoughts, nudging Tauro with her muzzle, looking confused.
Piper: -sidles closer to her mother on stiff legs, uncertain of Tauro and licks Gerda's muzzle briefly- You two are welcome to stay in our pack until your puppies are grown. I wish you the best, mother...
Tauro: *bumps Gerda back, ignoring Piper; she doesn't know Gerda's whole relationship with her alpha-daughter but obviously can't ask* I wish we knew where Laos went to...
Piper: -pads off to join Hurricane in watching their boys tree something-
Gerda: -safety rushes over her suddenly, as warm as a blanket. Allowed to stay in Gomorrah without fear of where she might go if Piper decided to exile her? Her tail begins to wag wildly and she wants to bounce around her sister with a squeal. Only an estranged mumble comes up her throat. Laos... Thinks of their deaf brother and wonders where he went. Eyes meet Tauro's-
Tauro: *sighs at the conflicting emotions in Gerda's eyes, unable to understand her whole meaning; she changes the subject, looking at the excitable pups* Grandpuppies... we're getting old, Gerda.
Gerda: -Grandpuppies...- -nods and watches the boys, her eyes fixated on Piper as she makes her way over to her sons. Thinks that at least if Piper couldn't be a good daughter, she at least knew how to be a good mother. Smiles and looks back to Tauro, standing up and motioning with her head to follow.
Tauro: *throws her head back and laughs* Gerda, you don't need to ask me follow you; I'm not leaving until your puppies are grown up, if then. And hopefully... *mutters under her breath* ...better than the last batch.
Gerda: -a grin rises on her lips at her sister's attitude and at the words that come out of her mouth. With a muffled squeak, she stamps a paw on the ground to emphasize the 'better than the last batch' part of her speech! because she agrees wholeheartedly after her four previous children-
Tauro: *laughs again, glad that her sister isn't trapped in a funk* I know they aren't your fault... but we'll bring your pups up right. *voice firm* As a family.
Gerda: -feeling happier than she has in months, maybe years! On her paws once again, she prances to the side with a wiggling body. As a family...Yes... -does her attempt at a bark, then takes off into the forest, towards 'home'-
Tauro: *laughing and barking more than enough for both of them; wiggles her body and chases Gerda like a pup playing tag*
