The Rules
Follow them, or we'll eat you

HERE WE GO! TEH RULES

    1. No Powerplaying/God-moding. This means that you cannot make your character overly powerful (ex. Hi-yah! I smash your face in with my giant book and you die.). You cannot say you hit someone in a battle; instead, you say you either aimed for them or completed an attack. The other person gets to decide if he gets hit or not. Ex:

Kurai raised his hand as a powerful blast of holy energy fired towards Ben.

Ben, attempting to block the oncoming onslaught, failed to deflect the attack in time and crashed into a tree.

You also can't keep on dodging or blocking everything someone throws at you. The idea is to be fair- being "cheap" is lame and distasteful. If you fight unfairly, it makes things no fun. However, you can do pretty much whatever you want to NPCs (Non-Player Characters), just don't make it stupid by being unrealistically powerful, even if they are only NPCs. It would get quite annoying!

Along with this rule will include You cannot kill another person's character without their consent. Duh.

Oh.. and please.. don't steal other character's items without their consent either.

    2. Swearing/Cussing should be kept to a minimum. . Now, it is understandable in a role-play setting. If your character is getting his or her butt whooped in a battle, or someone is about to die, they'll probably going to mouth off a word or two (or a couple of paragraphs, depending on who the person is ) in fact, it might be unrealistic if they didn't. However, in general, swearing should be rare as opposed to common place. Not only is it generally unwholesome, but it gets INSANELY ANNOYING when people go around and cuss at each other and at everything all the time. I've experienced this before, and regardless of whether you tolerate this sort of language or not, it really does get annoying for many people. The Mitomi Crew members can decide how to respond to this issue as they please.

This also is effective in OCC situations. So be nice. X3. Small ones are cool, say a pretty bad curse, and your warned mutta fukka xD.

    3. Of course there's romance! What else is life good for? However, as already said, No cybering, meaning, don't go off 'the deep end' and get overly sexual. It's disgusting, and I don't want anyone pouring out his or her lusts on the threads in this guild. Let the bunnies do their jobs!!!!!!

    4. If you want to advertise a different RP or Guild please ask myself, or one of the crew members before doing it. And when you advertise, put the person you asked at the end of your advertisement. If you don't ask, then it's a deleting of your posts and a warning for you!

    5. No Quoting within RPs. It makes the play way to cluttered. If someone needs to find out what happened, than go back a few pages. Come on, no laziness!

    6. NO ONE-LINERS

We want one paragraph. Yes, one nicely descriptive paragraph that we can all enjoy reading even if it is short. That means, basically, 6 sentences AT MINIMUM! Come on people, it's not hard. You should be around the age of 13, if your in Gaia, so a paragraph should be easy.

    7. Everyone is limited to 25 characters, anymore and I'll put you on lock down. Diino definitely doesn't follow this rule. So it's not very fair to make everyone else do so. Though I guess most of you won't manage to break it... But in case you do, it's alright. D: And please use anime images only for your characters. Try to make sure the image isn't already being used by asking in the OOC thread.

    8. No ' Emo-ness ' or 'negative comments' In the general board. A.K.A. The OCC Chat are meant for pleasant energy to swell about. If you just wanna come in and just whine about oh how your 1981038th gurlfriend left you or 90132th Boyfriend cheated on you. You are FREE To do that. But if it gets to the point where at least 1 (YES one person) or more kid/s are affected negatively from it and is obviously and clearly wanting you to stop. YOU WILL STOP. There is a rant thread in the OOC rooms, use it!!!!!

    9. Thou shall readeth all Stickies and announcements in every subforum (with the exception of past announcements!). Reading all of the stickies and announcements inside different subforums will help you learn the ways of how Mitomi works. So you won't make a thread in a sub-forum and get laughed at. So, save us the trouble of laughing and save yourself the trouble from looking silly XP. Read the stickies and announcements. They won't bite.

    10. OOC rooms are OOC rooms. NO RPING! Small things are fine, just don't make it so ungodly detailed that we'll feel like were RPing somewhere in Mitomi.

    11. If you call the guild leader a loser...she will be sad

    12. CREDIT SYSTEM IS UP. Crew basically is allowed to do many a thing here without credits, because they are choosen for their good judgement. >w> IF YOU ARE NOT CREW THEN DO NOT FRET~! While you can't make threads unless it's in the occ chat area [and do not make too many unessary ones, 'cause we'll delete them if it becomes a problem] you can still make threads in the dorms, off campus and on campus areas with the wonderful invention of CREDITS. 8D Credits unfortantly aren't tangiable...yet. But regardless, you earn credits from events or sometimes we may have give-aways if we feel like it. It's posted how many credits it takes to make what, so just make sure you follow the rules.

    15. YOU WANNA BE CREW? WELL TOO BAD. D< No...we'll let people join, you just have to prove your responsible and not be a jerk and such and you'll get up there one day. Just keep up things good enough and you can be a crew too~

    16. Finally, you must obey all of the rules put up by the main Gaia site [The ones that you had to agree to obey when you first registered]. Not doing so could get you deleted or banned.
