Natsuhi was laying down in the grass, quite content with life at the moment. In her wanderings she had come across a very handsome lone stallion, and the two had shared quite an interesting experience. Perhaps this is why those mares were so concerned over their stallions, she thought to herself with a smug smile, her ebony mane whipping around in the breeze. I never knew they could be so... enjoyable. Although she couldn't quite figure out why, she felt different somehow. In a good way though. Natsuhi nibbled contently on some of the grass in front of her, her glowing eyes gazing about for the other's presence. Hmm, where has he gotten to anyway? the mare wondered to herself, chewing on the grass thoughtfully. If he doesn't return soon I will have to go look for him.

Thundering over the plains beneath the open sky, breeze tossing his mane. That's what Brajan would have prefered to be doing at least. Instead, he rested on his side by a cool river, chewing a reed thoughtfully. Last night had been good. Undeniably so. Did that mare feel the same? Then again, why did it even matter? The pair of them were both alone, nothing would probably change that. And what if something more came of it?
As the thought struck him, he whickered irritably, rising to his feet in a solid motion. No, it shouldn't. Shouldn't matter, it was fun, and that was that. Frowning, he cast a glance toward the thicket where he'd left her sleeping just half an hour ago. he'd only planned to stretch his legs. Maybe it was time to go back.
That trail of thought brought on a fresh string of curses. Dammit! Resigned, he turned and headed through the high grasses, back toward where the mare slept.

Ears flicking at the sound of of Brajan's return, Natsuhi let out a soft nicker before getting up and slowly trotting over to the stallion's side. "Greetings," she uttered softly, giving him a faint smile. "I wasn't sure if you were coming back or not." Granted, he didn't exactly look all that pleased to be back, but she didn't entirely mind. After all, she still wasn't really sure of what was and wasn't considered normal behavior for most Kirin.

Brajan's ears perked as he saw her approach, his head lifting minutely. Bowing his muzzle in greeting, he regarded her with curious green eyes. "Good morning." Shaking his big head, he glanced off. "I'd thought to have a run." Why had he thought better of that, again? No matter. "Did you sleep well?"

"I would say so," she replied with a smile, brushing her tail over his back teasingly. "The company was quite pleasurable." Natsuhi couldn't help but chuckle a little to herself. It was certainly nice to see him again, even though he hadn't been gone that long. "Did you have a nice run?"

The light gesture sent a shiver up Brajan's spine that he couldn't quite explain. Shaking it off, he glanced over at her with a light shake of his head. "I only got as far as the river."

"Hmm, is that so?" she replied, looking at him thoughtfully for a moment. "If you want to run, then why don't you?" Although she enjoyed his company, Natsuhi wasn't about to force him to hang around if he didn't want to. She wasn't super clingy herself.

"You were sleeping," Brajan stated simply, as though that explained everything. Though he would never admit it to himself, he remained within earshot, in case something happened to the dozing mare.

"I see... Well, I'm up now." She smiled playfully. "Did you still want to go for a run?" The navy mare wondered vaguely if the lone stallion would be sticking around for a while, or if the two would simply part ways at the end of the day. Again, she wasn't really sure what to expect. For now she'd just hang around until told otherwise.

"You'd like to come along?" A slow smile curved Brajan's lips as he glanced out across the grass. "Don't know where I'm going... is this place your home?"

The mare shrugged lightly. "If you don't mind the company, then sure," she replied. "As far as my home, I don't have one. I usually just wander as I please."

Brajan nodded gently. "I see. So you won't miss this place if we wander too far." Pursing his lips, he shook his head. "I'm fine with company. It's gotten a bit quiet with Cocoa grown..."

"Ah, I see. Well, lead the way then, Brajan," she said, tossing him another smile along with a playfully bow. "I will follow your lead." Besides, from behind she would be able to more easily admire his rugged form.

"You're quite certain?" But already the stallion had moved just ahead, his muscles flexing and moving beneath his thin coat. Offering her a smile, he turned his gaze forward again, then bolted, moving over the ground at an alarming rate. The ground disappeared beneath them. He cast a glance back at his- his mate, perhaps. As the thought struck him, he slowed to a canter, and then a walk. "Natsuhi, are you feeling well?"

Natsuhi was right behind him when he dashed off, matching his speed. The feel of the forest flying by her was always quite exhilarating, and the fact that she was now running with someone made it even better. She's was just the slightest bit confused however when Brajan began to slow down. She listened intently to his question and pondered over it for a second before responding. "Well, I do feel a bit odd," she admitted, "but not unwell. I'm a bit hungry though." This was an odd thing in of itself, considering that she had grazed for a bit when she first woke up. "Why do you ask?"
