So, the shop has several lieutenants. Lieutenants have:
... under normal circumstances, a couple of light responsibilities.
Lieutenants have to have some way of getting in contact with each other and Setsushi other than Gaia (exchanging AIM screennames, email addresses, etc.)
When Setsushi's around but slow due to schoolwork, illness, stupidity or whatever, lieutenants should be able to help answer questions, fix mistaken/outdated information in the Guild, and so forth.
However, if there are no questions to answer and nothing to fix, lieutenants don't do anything. XD

Basically, they're in the Crew of the Guild, allowing them to edit and delete posts freely and access Rika's Sekrit Lab (which, uhh, usually doesn't have anything in it.)
They can also access Imperial Princess Rika. Hopefully they won't strip her naked or kill her fish.

During a short hiatus, the lieutenants should continue to answer questions and do light housekeeping around the Guild.
If it gets longer, they should retrieve the art files, review the backstory, and conduct growth retreats for the other players.
I don't want you guys to run away with my IP and reinvent the shop or anything, but to build on what's been established so that the other players can continue if they want to.
Who should be a lieutenant
If you're on the whitelist, you're currently really into Porcelain, and you have a lot of free time at the moment, you can volunteer to be a lieutenant. If you later realize you don't have the time or interest anymore, you can resign. After resigning, you can volunteer again at a later time, without penalty.
Approximately every month (for now let's plan April 15, May 15, etc.) the roster will be refreshed. New volunteers may be added (but everyone will not always be chosen.) Current lieutenants will remain unless they gave notice of their desire to take a break before the refresh. Inactive lieutenants will get removed, without any penalties.
So, please volunteer only if you feel you can keep up with the shop passably for that one month period -- you can naturally take short breaks if work or school gets hairy from time to time, but don't volunteer if you know you're going to be crazy busy all the time. Also, please volunteer only if you can deal sympathetically with Setsushi's crazy. I'm not kidding about mini breakdowns. o_@;
What do you get for being a lieutenant
... Nothing!
Well, you get in on our zany schemes, you can rifle through Rika's underwear, and you can pay yourself from the mule's funds if you think you've done something that merits pay. However, there is no set salary because a ) you may not actually have do anything as a lieutenant >_>;; and b ) Porcelain makes very little money. (Heck, I've probably made 100 times what I've made through Porcelain through playing Booty Grab. o_O;;;; )
So don't get into this if you want an actual paying job. You should be volunteering because you want to help support the shop in a small way.
How to sign up or sign off
To volunteer, you just... post in this thread saying you volunteer. You can specify a time period if you'd like to be automatically removed at the end of it, but you don't have to. There is no application. Only those we already know are trustworthy and qualified will get accepted. 3nodding
When you want to sign off, you post in the thread again saying so. You don't have to give any reason. You'll get removed during the next refresh.
