Vertical Garden Project

Ok so I am a newbie at gardening and don't really have a great area for a full functional accessible garden in my yard, but I do have a back porch with a 9ft x 23.4ft wall and is surrounded on the other three side with windows that take up 2/3 of their walls, which gets almost a full 6hrs of sun starting at the end of May.

So I am just going to post my progress here, if you have any comments or suggestion feel free to post em, please smile

I am confined to mainly porch gardening aswell, since we have mostly Georgia Red Clay which not many plants can survive in (or grass)

I am quite interested in how this works out biggrin

How are all the plants going to be positioned so they can get the light they need? I'm curious.

I saw a program on tv where businesses made vertical gardens along their walls! It was probably more elaborate than you are planning for a porch garden as the whole structure was set up to hang down from the roof. It looked like living art.
I think your idea is great especially for limited space.
I'd love to see the pics as your project progresses.

Basically I purchased darf versions of all the veggies I wanted and the large plants will be on the floor in large pots and the the smaller pots will be mounted to a frame on the wall. And I will put some in hanging baskets. I will post pix when its all set up in the next couple weeks.
